It’s a friends to lovers book and the heroine thinks it’s unrequited but it’s not.
The hero is a cop and when the heroine gets in trouble, he makes her move in with him. He had a girlfriend in the beginning, who was a school teacher, and when the heroine thinks he is going to propose she starts to distance herself.
**SPOILERS**
Heroine is a romance/erotica writer, which no one knows, and she writes novels based on the hero. The hero and heroine kissed when they were younger but the both think the other doesn’t remember. The heroines father is in jail for hurting them and he is getting out.
That’s all I remember and I know it’s sounds like a lot but I can’t find the title. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
