Oooooh YOU GUYS!!! One of my FAVORITE books (and Amy’s too, and a few others in our crew) was just asked about. One I could answer and was SO thrilled to.
And if any of you missed this book, our recommendation of it, or my review, I KNEW I had to post this reader question, even if I answered it already.
This book is AWESOME, BUT!!! Totally an unconventional, intense, love story. Just perfect, in its own amazing way. After all… it’s Cara McKenna that wrote it!

Sooooooo much more than the feel of that cover. And yet, once you know this book and these characters, the cover will fit. 😉

But, there are soooo many more: Caleb from Captive in the Dark….Sinclair Vinemont from the Acquisition Series…Preppy, Bear, and King from the King Series….Jude from Wrong…Damon Scott from The Masterpiece Duet.
This could seriously last all night!!
Blake from Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia…..he really tugged at my heartstrings.He was “homeless” in more ways than one before he met Livia.

Lucas Kendrick, Duke of Harndon, from Heartless by Mary Balogh. Lucas was broken by the cruel events that happened to him when he was a younger man. Now he seems so cold and hard (‘heartless’). But he just needs the warmth and love of a wonderful woman (Anna!!) to melt the ice around his heart. *happy sigh*
Captain Christopher Phelan from Love In The Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. He has (what we would call) ptsd after his terrible experiences in the Crimean War. But sweet, eccentric Beatrix really sees him as he is, and her kindness and understanding reach deep into his scarred soul……

OMG YESSSSSSSS!!!!! Badger is THE MOST broken book boyfriend.
There are others up there that I am in agreement with (Kellan, Christian, Miles, Z…OMG Z!!!) but Badger…oh my sweet, devastating Badger. He broke ME.
I will always think of Z as the most broken….and I love him! (But of course, there’s also Remington Tate from the Real series….ahhh Remy!)
