Mercy needs our book help! The one sounds like it could be very sweet but also with the angst of rejection. 😉 I’m not a huge Historical Romance buff, so hopefully someone here can help. 😀

Hello.
Can you help me solve a historical romance?
The man and woman are best friends. They happen to have to go away like they are being chased. They run through a forest and end up in a clearing where they find a cabin.
They end up in a cabin for the night. When the get into the cabin, they find that there is only one bed. They decide to sleep in it together as they are friends and do not envision anything will happen. When the get in the bed, after settling into comfortable sleeping position…well, obviously, the air suddenly seems to thin and the somewhat each towards each other subconsciously.
The man doesn’t want to do anything regrettable because the woman is his best friend so he gets up to “drink water” l believe.
The lady gets up as well, approaches him and tries to kiss him but the man hurriedly rushes out of the cabin into the night with the excuse that he needs air. The lady ends up feeling dejected.
The man and woman both clearly fancy each other but the man is afraid to ruin their friendship.
Kindly help me find it.
