ROCK CHICK QUESTION!!!
Grace wants to know about the latest Kristen Ashley book that was just released ➔ Rock Chick Reawakening:

With Kristen Ashley’s latest novella that came out today, do u need to read the entire series of the rock chicks to know what’s goin on?
As much of a HUGE fan as I am of Kristen Ashley (and I have read SO MANY of her books, new and old), I have yet to read the Rock Chick series. Can you believe that? Is it because I’m saving it for an old-school KA reading marathon? I think so. :D!!!
So… I am unable to answer this one, but maybe someone here can?

Robyn: I just finished Rock Chick Reawakening. I have to say that this is my favorite book in the series! I fell in love with Daisy and Marcus reading and rereading the Rock Chick series. I’m so glad KA told their story and it ended with a Prince Charming, a huge castle and other surprises!
Carly: I never ever post on here (first time so Hi!)… But has anyone read Rock Chick Reawakening yet? I’m a mess. A big blob of tears. I think I look worse now than I did after having my girl. But I’m SO HAPPY!! I can’t stop! I don’t want to read anything else from the list yet, I just want to stay in my happy Daisy and Marcus bubble… But if anyone has read it, and recommends something that will top it, I’m open to suggestions!

So… can anyone let us know if we can just start with this one, or not?
Kathryn: For the most part no, because it is set before any of the other Rock Chick happenings but in the last few pages there is some mention of the other Rock Chicks (after all the happenings) which could be a bit spoilery :). Xx
Lori: Yessss it’s part of what you know that gives you all the feels
Amanda: I think reading the RC series before made it better. And the ending mentions the other ladies and their spouses and kids so that could spoil things. But I don’t think you HAVE to.
Bethany: It’s a prequel, so you don’t have to, but if you do you will be much more invested in the characters!!!
Shannon: You really don’t need to read the whole series first but if you haven’t, you really should. They are definitely in my top five of all time. The characters from previous books are only briefly mentioned. Daisy story took place quite some time before the other books. Enjoy!
Cristin: No this book is a stand alone and this book takes place before all the other Rock Chick books – so you can start with this one.
Andrea: It’s not necessary to read the series in order to understand Daisy’s story. But the epilogue mentions the other characters and where they are at in their lives. I personally love KA and could reread her books all day. I started with the Rock Chick series and fell in love with her writing and her characters.
Debra: This is an amazing book. The series is absolutely a must read. Besides, if you haven’t read the series and read Marcus and Daisy’s story… trust me…. you WILL read every single book. The storylines and KA’s writing is brilliant. But no, it’s not imperative to read the others first but I do recommend it in order to fully enjoy this last installment of a great series.
Rebecka: Nope! But it’s more fun cause you get glimpses at characters from the other books before you met them.
Teresa: Loved this book! I like how we get to see what happen to everyone over the years.
DG: Finished 1001 Dark Nights and LOVED, loved it! Absolutely LOVED getting to know Daisy and Marcus. Love the way he loves her. GUH! Through all the Rock Chick books we get peeks of Daisy and Marcus, but not really enough to know, know them. I agree that it can be read as a standalone since it takes place long before any of the other Rock Chick stories happen.

Okay y’all. What KA books should I read? I LOVED The Fantasyland and The Three series. LOVED. I’ve also read 2 others, but they just didn’t do it for me like those fantasy/paranormal series did. Do y’all have a favorite?
PS Remember that reader question for a month or so ago about the family where clocks stop whenever a woman in the family got pregnant? Did anyone ever figure out what that book was? It sounded neat.

Diana – loved the Colorado Mountain and Chaos series. Also, The Will and Soaring…seems like KA mentioned somewhere that she is writing the next in this series.

Diana- I have read everyone of her books except Matilda. Penmort Castle, Sommersgate House, Lacybourne Manor. These are all paranormal. I believe there are a few more I can’t think of off the top of my head. I think it’s called her Ghost and Reincarnation series. It lists them on her website. You really can’t go wrong with her books. Happy reading ☺
The whole series is FAAAABULOUS!!! You don’t need to read them BUT you get the AWWW feeling!! They are great series. I have read each book at least twice and their all great!!! ❤️️❤️️❤️️
Fav KA’s? At Peace, Motorcycle Man, Rock Chick Renegade.
I personally don’t think the new novella is KA at her fabulous best, and I wouldn’t suggest it as an intro to the rock chick series. Her full length novels are much better IMO.
