Reader Question… Solved! The series about the two college kids that are supernatural enemies but she doesn’t know she has abilities…

Katy just sent us this reader question! Ohhhh I’ve read quite a few like this but they were all YA, so I’m curious to know this one too!!

She asks:

I hope you can help.

I started a series probably 5 years ago. College campus boy meets girl .

Turns out they both are some sort of supernatural.. enemies. He was rich and knew… she had no idea she was something different.

I wish I could remember more.

Anyone have a guess?

Ria: Could it be the The Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol?

Jan: The Magicians by Lev Grossman, maybe? It’s a few years since I read it and I can’t remember all the deets, but I know the lead characters were college age.

Corkdork: Sounds kind of like the Mark of Nexus series by Carrie Butler, but I don’t remember the boy being rich.

Katy: Hey .. thank you so much. After the comment about it being the Amy Bartol series, which I loved, I knew it wasn’t it. I did a deep dive in my kindle knowing that it was at the same time though. It was the Providence series by Jamie McGuire! It was driving me crazy for so long bc I don’t think I ever finished. Will now reread both series. I have been reading your blog from the beginning. Always great!! Thank you so much!

Maryse: YAY!!! I’m so glad you figured it out and am so thankful for your sweet comments about the blog. In fact, YOU KNOW WHAT?? I was thinking it might be that series, because I read it so many years ago, and she had no clue about importance, except for the “enemies” part… threw me. I didn’t remember that aspect.
