Rose was looking for this book, and I guessed it!!! I thought I’d post it anyway since it comes up often as as an unrequited love recommendation (that HURT US gooooooood!!!), and even a few times in the past as a reader question, because this book is unforgettable and re-read good. Well… unforgettable except for the title that is. 😉

And I bet just by the first 2 lines in her question, you’ll recognize this one too (if you read it, that is). And if you haven’t, this is a MUST READ!!!

A friend always looked after the kids when he was deployed and she is kind of related to his family (I don’t remember if she was fostered by them) and now is looking after them. She always had feelings for him…

They live together but he’s still kind of in love with his wife and blames the friend for the drunken night and takes for granted everything she does for his kids.
It’s a bit angsty book, it’s a series but I cannot remember any of them..
