Aimee: I started a MC romance series that has to be read in order. The Outlaw Chess Series by: Harley Diamond.
It has a unique style where each chapter is a character, from the same series, has a point of view even though it’s about one character for each book! That’s the whole reason you have to read them in order…. Ace is the first one and some parts were a little long but it leads you into the rest of the other books. 6 book series!
Faith is looking for this book. And I love a good jerk-hero at the start, to middle of a book. I love to hate him!! 😂

As she was leaving she saw a really drunk guy. She took him home (his home) and had to take care of him. Turned out he was one of these rich arrogant guys. When he woke he said something rude and insulting about having a rule about ‘no sleep-overs’

I am trying to find a book about doctors where I think she is a resident and has had a crush on her friend who is also a doctor. I can’t remember if he is a resident or attending but he doesn’t like her back and has no clue that she likes him!
My memory is a little hazy on some parts so some of this might not be 100 percent accurate.
He actually ends up being pretty mean to her in some parts of the book.
Christine needs our book help! I was so hooooooked on love triangles and in a book like this, I know I would have struggled between falling for the sweet underdog vs. falling for the alpha-jerk that doesn’t deserve her, but might have a heart of gold hidden somewhere in there. 😉

Then later in the day she meets his enemy who is poor and lives with his step dad. She starts dating him.

Here are the details about book 1:
I think I might have read it around 2015-16 and I know I loved it, in fact I feel like it might have been on my best of list the year I read it. (So sad that I don’t have all of these books listed)
My recollection is foggy but I think the h is a social worker and the H has younger siblings. She is assigned to their case and it is maybe her first case on her own so she wants to remain impartial. She gets involved with the H and there are complications with the kids and maybe someone from her past?
