This is an interesting reader question! Because, as far as I know, my Black Dagger Brotherhood Reading Order list is pretty exact, and quite intensive (having preorders as far as into 2023). Even spinoffs, and novellas all in the right spots.
That said… now I’m super curious as to an answer for Cheryl’s question.

I was checking this series out on goodreads as I’ve read most of them.
Goodreads said there was a related series the black brotherhood. When I checked it out it was in german. So I’m thinking no big deal.
I then notice there are, I think, 36 books instead if the 21 in the black dagger brotherhood.
Do you have any idea of what the difference is? Why so many more books? There can’t be books out there in german that aren’t in english!

Maryse: OH WAIT! I think I answered my own question. I just counted all the books in MY LIST and it also has 36 books on it (due to all of the novellas and spinoffs). I’m thinking Cheryl is looking at a more basic – strictly “Black Dagger Brotherhood” book list (showing a smaller number of books)?
