I get a lot of really great book questions (next in series, release dates, book titles, book suggestions etc…) and while I usually answer them privately, I thought to myself, so many of us have the exact same question! Why don’t I make the answers public?. After all, some of them I learned about, on the spot, while researching the answer. So here are the latest reader book questions, and I welcome more!
Q: I’ve been getting so many questions asking for the title of the book where the explosions go off at the bar and then they have to walk home and bad things happen (Promise Me Darkness) and what about the sequel?
A: I have that answer, too! The sequel is called Promise Me Light and will be available September 24th 2013 (but is up for pre-order right now!)
Q: Cindy asks: “The Arrangemen
A: The Arrangement #10, The FERRO Family <— release date TBA (I’ve stalked her FB page and she hasn’t released any info. I hear this “serial series” is voted on by fans for potential future releases and story “direction” so I think she’s still working on that part).
Q: Cori: Just wondering how I can be a part of BOOK BASH next summer…
A: Contact Book Bash via their contact page and let us know what part of Book Bash 2014 you’re interested in (attendee, signing author or volunteer) and they will email you with updates when more is known. You can also like the Facebook page as many updates are added there.
Q: Seema: What about your favorite book? I guess that’s hard when you read so many!!
A: Just check out my “5 star” reviews, and you’ll pretty much see ’em all. Of course, I have my “favorites” amongst my favorites. 😉 LOL!
Q: Amanda: I was reading your review for Sempre and I so want to read it but I am in able to find. it I clicked your link to it and it sent me to amazon (which I am addicted too!) but it doesn’t give you the option to buy…
A: Hi Amanda! Yes, Sempre (in it’s indie format) has been removed from Amazon since Gallery Books has signed it on. They will be re-releasing it soon (it’s in editing as we speak). It IS available (by Gallery) as a pre-order on Amazon here: Sempre (expected release date November 25th 2013). There will ALSO be a part TWO (Sempre: Redemption) to be released at a later date.
Q: Bianca: Last night I read The Opportunist, after having avoided doing so for the last 6 months. I loved it!!! However, I just can’t find it in me to read Dirty Red, so I was wondering…Is it ok to skip straight to Thief????
A: I get you, Bianca (Leah is a hard act to swallow) but DO NOT SKIP AHEAD!!! All three books are AMAZING (even Leah’s) and there is a progression to their stories with each installment. They are all integral to the story as a whole and you will be confused if you skip straight to “Thief“.
Q: Sisco: Would love a list of books romance motorcycle gangs.
A: Sure!! I have one right here (although since the “Motorcycle Club/Biker Romance” books have really taken off, it’s still a work in progress with a a bunch of recent releases that will be added shortly). I’ve called it the Ultimate List of Bad Boy Biker Books. 🙂
Q: Kari: Abbi glines – LOVE HER , But she only has one of the fallen series on audiobook. Does it take a certain amount of time for them to come out because some come out with the book?
A: Hi Kari! She does have a few out (including some from her Fallen series) like Fallen Too Far, Twisted Perfection: A Novel (sort of from the “Fallen” series), Because of Low (Sea Breeze), The Vincent Brothers, Breathe (Sea Breeze), The Vincent Boys, Just For Now (Sea Breeze). Note: I’ve linked them to the Kindle formats here, but you can just choose the “audio” format once you get there. 🙂
Q: Lori: Do you know when book four of the crossfire series by Sylvia Day is being released?
A: Book #4 will be entitled “Captivated by You” but the release date is “to be announced”. Sylvia Day noted on her Facebook page that:
“To avoid what happened with the shuffling of Entwined with You‘s release date, we’re going to refrain from announcing a date until the book is in production and everything is Set. In. Stone.”
Q: Helen: After reading Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series I wasn’t able to find any books that had characters with relationships similar to Barrons and Mac’s relationship. But then I found Karina Halle’s Experiment in Terror series and although Perry and Dex’s relationship isn’t exactly the same as Barron and Mac, they still had the kind of tension that I was looking for… recommendations for what books I could look into?
A: I sure do, Helen!!! My next obvious recommendation has that dark & gritty paranormal angle (although the main characters in this series are human), and the humans themselves have a pretty rough situation going on. And OMG what romantic tension!! And a love triangle. This one ripped my heart out just like EIT and Fever did (a few times!!!). SO SO SOOOOOO good and intense! Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghosts series. One of my all time favorites, EVER!
Maryse, just reading through your list of questions. Have you heard when Jayna Vixen’s 3rd book “leather and Sand” is coming out? I had heard this summer but can’t find anything out about it. Thanks for you help.

Maryse, I am trying to remember the author and book title that was taken down by the author earlier this year after negative feedback, (either on goodreads or amazon cant remember) I think you did a writeup here or shared something on fb when it happened and I thought i bought the book before it was removed but cannot remember what it was called now to read it and my tbr list is ridiculously long. Thanks!
