<— I’ve JUST found out about the first TWO books in this series on Friday (by accident I swear!!). Total fluke. You know how I found out about ’em? Doing my own special searches for books that had intriguing and somewhat “different” blurbs. So one of ’em I found was by searching for “stripper” books. ‘Cause where there are strippers, there are bad boys, right? 😉 Lotsa potential trouble (and fun to be had!!)
Lo and behold, it found me one called “Tease” and yep, after reading the synopsis, I was all… “okay, I’m sampling it!!”
And then, by chance I noticed another book that looked pretty good, too. A hot firefighter guy that rescues? a girl being stalked. And then I realized as I was adding them to the bargain list, that BOTH were from the same author. I had never heard of her before, but she had two books out with two blurbs that had my attention. Ok cool! 😀
And then TONIGHT… I received a comment in regards to a BRAND NEW release that – blurb-wise – topped ALL of them. Plane crash, deserted island with a sexy pilot… and then they discover they are not alone? ANOTHER guy, too? Me ——-> R-U-H! R-O-H! <—- happiness!!!!!!!!
Nicole: If you have not read this book you TOTALLY need to!! 1 girl, 2 hott guys and a deserted island makes for one epic read!!!
And when I realized it was yet another book from this author that I found on Friday, I KNEW I had to dedicate a post to this series!!! Three books in two days from her, that gave me a “synopsis jolt*?!!! That’s not something to take lightly….
So there you have it. I’m thinking this is fate. I’ve not heard of this author or these books before (I haven’t even read ’em yet), but in my quest for something up-our-alley/a little risky different, I found these yesterday. And then her latest release just came in as a recommendation. Yep. I’m hoping it’s fate and I’m hoping these books are gonna rock my world!!!
So I’m going to leave you with the blurb from book #3 since it has me the most! (ALL of them are standalones!! I haven’t read any of them yet, but I plan to. Let me know if you have. :))
Stranded and alone with not one, but two wickedly enticing men.
Ava arrives at the airport, expecting to board a commercial flight to Puerto Rico. But a plane ticket isn’t waiting for her. Instead, she finds a guy with dark curly hair wearing seriously ratty jeans and holding a sign with her name on it.
He may not look like a pilot, but he is. And he’s her ride. So now it’s just Nash and her on a tiny tin can of a plane flying over the Atlantic. When a thunderstorm comes out of nowhere, it proves to be too much for the little aircraft.
Ava and Nash plunge from the sky and end up on an uncharted deserted island.
Stranded.
As if that isn’t bad enough, Ava starts to desire more than just rescue–hunger for more than food. Nash is only too happy to oblige… but it seems they might not be as alone as they thought. And Nash might have some competition in claiming Ava’s body… and her heart.

OMG this is a must read series!! I have read them all & the seem to get better & better!!! Cambria truly knows how to write!! I’ve read each book in only a day!!! They r hot, steamy, action, funny,& love. I promise this will b one of the best series u have read all yr. Torch has a hot Fire man who is an amazing hero. Truly love. He goes above & beyond his duty in saving the damsel!! Tease is so captivating. A stripper who really doesn’t strip but makes it hot. A surfer hottie. I’ve never been the surfer type but I am now after reading Tease!!! Now for Tempt. My absolute fav so far. A girl, small plane, and a hot Latino pilot!!!! Plane crash on a desert island. Love triangle in a deserted island? Yes!!!! Worth the time to read!! I give them all 10 stars out of 5!!!
I adore Cambria Hebert’s writing style!
I read Tease last month and absolutely loved it! Definitely one of my very faves this year. As soon as I finished I read Torch and liked that one as well. I like her characters in both books & their somewhat “normalness”. And the guys – it was refreshing because they’re not really “bad boy-ish” but more “good-ish” nice guy. Does that make sense?!? Anyway..thanks for the update on book #3 – I’ll definitely be reading that as soon as it comes out!
Whaa…wait Tempt is out!!! 🙂
Yep it is!! I think tonight! LOL! I’m on it now…
Tease is one of my must reads for this year. So good!! x
Thank you Marcy! I can’t wait to read it! 😀
Ps. You HAVE to read Night Owl by M. Pierce. OMG Stay up all night squeee! So good! I think it is going to be the next big thing this year!
Amy, I just saw your comment here (9 days later…). Thank you so much. Maryse did a lovely shout-out about Night Owl in one of her bargain book posts.
Hey, I was wondering if they need to be read in order or if I can read in any order. Thanks
