Who’s in the mood for a dark read? Maybe some true bad guys… and romance? How about a mafia bad-boy series? Recommended to me by so many of our fellow readers, I’ve been hearing that these will be right up my alley, and are unputtdownable. I am SO in the mood for it!
Heather: I don’t know if you’ve crossed paths with this book…mafia bad boy series. Angsty, hot, and great characters along with an all consuming story that will keep you up late into the night…
Ela: “I highly recommend this unexpected find and treat. All the ladies that read this book from my recommendations absolutely loved it! There is also a sequel “The Devil’s Revenge”, loved it just as much!”
Shanda: Not sure if you have read The Devil;s Eyes by Jennifer Loren, if not I recommend it. It has a Crow’s Row and Sempre feel to it but way more “steamy” sex. The 2nd one is The Devil’s Revenge. I actually saw one of your followers post on your FB page how much she liked them and if you liked Crow’s Row you would like these. She is right. So if you haven’t read them I recommend that you do.
Sylwai: I just finished the second book in her series today and am freaking out cuz I can’t wait for book 3. Its called Devil’s Eyes and Devil’s Revenge. It is a mix of everything that is great in a book. The bad boy, a lot of messed up feelings, a strong heroine (for once), passion, crazy backwords love…etc. I can keep going and going but what I’m trying to say is if u haven’t read them yet or heard about them then you should definetly check them out. They even deserve to be on your famous lists…
Kristina: Ok, just finished The Devil’s Eye’s & The Devil’s Revenge by Jennifer Loren.. omg so good!! Book 1 was really good but book 2, WOW!!! I finished both in one day, barely breaking to eat or use the restroom lol. I can’t wait for the next installment! This has def been a year of great new series.. (book has a Crow’s Row feel to it but def more HOT ADULT) & Nick.. OMG.. lol he is bad.. real bad, but gawd you can’t help but want him, eeeeeeeeh! 🙂
Amy: I just want to second (or third) the recommendation for The Devil’s Eyes by Jennifer Loren. I COULD NOT put it down, it was SOOO good. If you loved Crow’s Row, you will absolutely love this book… I actually thought it was better 🙂
Sabrina: Yes on book 2 it’s awesome!!!
About book #1:
Nicholas Jayzon has broken through the destitute chains of his past by stealing, swindling and charming his way to owning his city. In the city where most everyone owes him a favor, Nick’s power is growing. The police can’t touch him and his enemies are becoming powerless to take him down. He is intelligent, cunning and above all … alluring. No woman can resist him. But, one woman is determined to get him, and her reasons are personal. Kayla Donovan has spent years preparing for the time she faces him again and plans on denying Nick as much of her as she can. She knows him; she knows what gets his attention and what he can’t resist. Kayla is the only one that can possibly look into his devilish eyes and not be besieged by them or controlled by a single whisper of his desire. If she is able to manage her fears, then there is no reason for her not to succeed, and if she can’t … well, she has nothing to lose. She has no one left to care about her or to miss her if she fails in her mission. She has no one, not since her beloved sister fell for him, became controlled by him, and eventually died for him.
Driven by hate, Kayla is determined to find a way into Nick’s favor, find a way to make him trust her so she can find the heart of the devil and tear it apart before he captures hers.

Loved all three books, the title and cover both had me thinking this series would be totally different.
Kayla is a kick ass strong willed gal and gives Nick a run for his money, much to the angst of his men!
I have loved your blogs and have spent many nights not going to sleep until 7am just cause ive fell in love with whatever im reading which happens to be nearly every book. I come on this website every other day an always add to mu to-read list. Thanks to you and your continuous updates i read 87 books last year an had a baby. it was fifty shades that got me started and ive been a bookworm ever since. I am so excited to get stuck into this series and i look forward to many more recommendations. Without you i prob wouldnt of heard about all these amazing books x
I second what Suzanne said. This series is awesome.
This series is absolutely brilliant! Ela introduced many of us to it and I’m so grateful!
We also have a couple of threads going over in the spoiler forum for you all to join us in afterwards. Jen (the author) has also stopped by a few times to talk!
Okay Maryse – this is all your fault. I saw your post on FB, came here and read about The Devil’s Eyes and promptly purchased it!! Darn it, my poor cc is already screaming at me to stop charging ebooks. You always recommend the darn best books, darn it all! <3
YAH!! Darn it all! LOL!!!! My TBR list just screeched at me when I started shifting books around again…. *sigh*
Really love this series. I’ve read all three and can’t wait for the next one!!
Interesting so far, but I’m struggling with the dialogue at times because of the lack of contractions…
Oh dear.
The premise was good, but the writing is just a fail. I’d like my money back, truthfully, but I guess you’ve got to kiss a lot of frogs…
I absolutely LOVED this series and can’t wait for The Devil’s Masquerade!!!!!
Oh dear lord started first one last nite now almost done, could not put it down not ur typical love story but so so good
Dear Lord!! This story sucks you in and just keeps taking. I just finished the third book and can’t wait for the next one. Talk about a cliffhanger! I had some trouble with the lack of editing but if you can get past that its so worth it!!
