<— I remember when this one came out a couple of years ago! It was during our quest for more like “Beautiful Disaster” (not that we’ve ever stopped looking… 😉 ), but tons of our fellow readers were REALLY loving it! And now, there are more books in the series!
Tean: I have almost finished and am loving so much called Pushing The Limits about the relationship between two teenagers who are both damaged, as they come to terms with their past . Noah (I love that name) is the hot bad bad boy with a bad rep who is hiding great sadness as he comes to terms with his situation after the death of his parents and Echo who is unable to remember a horrific event from her past and is haunted by nightmares ,flashbacks and trying to deal with her feelings about herdad and his pregnant girlfriend. This is such an emotionally satisfying read with just enough action to make me wish I had met a Noah when I was younger ….ahh.
Louise: Maryse, have you read Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry? So not my genre (high school) but I absolutely loved it! … a well written story.
Jody: I would like to Suggest Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. It has the same feel of Beautiful Disaster. … Granted no one is quite like Travis.
Mertxe: I loved Pushing the Limits, It’s a must-read my second favorite 5-stars
Donna: I just finished reading Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. It was awesome!! Great story line
Adene: i finished pushing the limits in less than 12 hours, Noah and Echo…(love that name), i sobbed everytime noah saw his brothers, and echo’s pain i REALLY……..felt it. (Hit close to home) wasnt expecting to be so interested in the book
Kris: One of my favorite books this year was Pushing the Limits Katie McGarry
Kristi: I really loved Dare You To by Katie McGarry.
About book #1:
So wrong for each other…and yet so right.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth.
But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common.
Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can PUSH THE LIMITS and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her HOW TO LOVE AGAIN.
- Pushing the Limits #1
- Crossing the Line (Pushing the Limits #1.1)
- Breaking The Rules (#1.5) – expected release December 30th 2014
- Dare You To (Pushing the Limits)
- Crash into You (Pushing the Limits)
- Take Me On (Pushing the Limits)
- Breaking the Rules (Pushing the Limits Book 6)
Ooh I picked this one up a little while ago when it was for sale for 31 cents (CRAZY DEAL, still can’t believe that one). I didn’t actually read the synopsis because, well, come on, 31 cents! It does sound quite good – might have to bump it up my TBR list!
Lots of the readers on Facebook are saying how much they love it! (Crash Into You) also!
These books are about high school students, however, they are wonderful!! The characters are top notch. Highly recommend!
I really liked this series. But it’s slow read. I’m used to reading very fast and flying through the books, but these ones kept me busy for some time. However, I will recommend them. Right now mom is reading them as well.
