RE-RELEASE ALERT!! This series (that I LOVED!! Here’s my review of book #1) used to be with another publisher, but the author just got her book rights back and has re-released them! She says:
“…my books Beyond Eden and Finding Eden are on sale for 99 cents. These are long books (particularly Beyond Eden) and I also revised Beyond Eden, extended the ending, etc. . . Didn’t change it, but just cleaned it up and extended it. . . So i discounted them to 99 cents for a few days for the re-release so anyone who wanted to read the extended version could. . .”
This one comes highly recommended, and it was frequently suggested in my “Books That Made Me Cry” list.
Michelle: “Maryse- you have to read Beyond Eden! The first paragraph begins the pull of the heart strings. When I describe this book to friends I tell them that “Kele Moon’s writing is so brilliant in this book she had me @ hello”.”
Jenny: “Maryseβ¦.Beyond Eden and Finding Eden are amazing reads. I know theyβre not for everyone but I think you need to read them. My heart broke in BE.”
About book #1 (the one that made so many cry):
Three lifelong friends find themselves tangled in a web of love, pain and dangerous secrets in this erotic Garden of Eden tale.
Tall, dark and handsome Danny Carlow has always gotten whatever he wants except for the two he wants more than anything–his best friends, lovers Paul and Eve. Determined, he waits like a snake in the grass, poised for the right moment to offer them a temptation too delicious to resist.
Artist Eve Everton makes the painful decision to leave her true love Paul for the siren call of New York City. Ten years later, with her life in shambles, she returns. When Paul’s waiting arms aren’t available, Eve falls for Danny’s charm and finds herself a willing accomplice in the dangerous games Danny plays.
Former college football star Paul Mattling is now a successful attorney with a bright future ahead of him. But behind those brilliant blue eyes are secret desires for a taste of the forbidden. Will he play it safe or give in to Danny and Eve and bite the apple?
Reader Advisory: Not for the faint of heart, the pain in this story is vivid and real, the emotions even more so. Haunting and poignant, Beyond Eden presents a darker side of BDSM. You might gasp. You might cry. You might find yourself reading it again and again.
- Beyond Eden
- Finding EdenΒ (this is considered the prequel, but was released only after Beyond Eden and is officially listed as “Book #2”)
- Claiming EdenΒ – expected release date January 26th 2016
P.S. A reader contacted me asking if she should read book #2 (the prequel) first, or leave it as the second book to read.
The author (Kele Moon) emailed me with this response:
“The books– If I was personally recommending them. . .
I’d say Beyond EdenΒ first because I just feel like Finding EdenΒ has a little more impact to read it and see Danny and Paul as very young men knowing what they become. To see their lives at home. To know what made them who they were in Beyond Eden. Danny before his mom died. Paul before his football injury . .
But people read Finding Eden first all the time and it doesn’t seem to affect anything. . . soooo. . . LOL! I guess whatever works for her.. .I know a lot of people like to be in chronological order and it won’t take away from anything if she does it like that. . . I just think it has more impact reading Beyond Eden first. . . “
I am going to start these soon.. I have heard they are good and have some GOOD dirty talk… you should do your top list on the best DIRTY talk in books!!!! for all of the pervs like myself out there haha
Beyond Eden is amazing! I re-read it right after I finished it because I didn’t feel done with the characters yet. And the crying is real, and unavoidable.
Wow! Just finished both books, had my heart breaking in BE. I
Every once in a while I fall in love with fictional characters. (Well, maybe very often!) I absolutely love Danny Carlow. Like Cole in Maya Banks’ “Sweet Addiction,” Danny pulls at my heart strings. I never knew smoking a cigarette and stretching legs could be so sexy. I can’t wait for book 3 in this series! Like one of the other reviewers said, I’ll be reading both books because I’m not done with the characters yet either.
