OMG I got a total blurb-jolt from War so I read it!! 😀 It gave me that “Drogo-Khaleesi / KA Golden Dynasty vibe and I was so in the mood for that!!! 😛 And since each book is about a different couple, I didn’t feel lost. P.S. I’m totally loving it. It is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, and the writing is great (and the heroine is modern, albeit in a very changed and horrible new life).
Jean: I just finished Pestilence and that is my recommendation for Maryse!!! Please!!! (Those of you who have read it know how significant the word “please” is in this book!) You have to read it! …Pestilence!!!! YOU HAVE TO READ PESTILENCE!!!! …ABSOLUTELY FREAKING LOVED IT!!

I saw your Friday release post for the second book, so I did a little research on the books (and the books are free with kindle unlimited) and so I downloaded the first. All I have to say is OMG!! So, so good!! I devoured both in two days!! I read some fantasy books like Sarah J Maas, but normally I’m a contemporary romance kinda gal, except I cannot rave enough about this series. Great plots, amazing characters, except now I have to wait for the next ones, sigh… I would highly recommend these books!!😍
