I’ve been hearing GREAT things about this series, but the part that got me was when I heard it had a “Fever” feel. Which I was hoping translated into a “Barrons” feel. π And it looks like it might just be alllll that!
Lisa:Β Maryse, had to drop you a note about the King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. Whoa, not what I expected SO much better. eep! If your in the mood for fun paranormal read this is it! King is on of my favorite dark characters. The first two books in the series are out. The third is due in the fall, cant wait to see how Mia and King’s story ends!
Tracey:Β Just finished book 1 and 2 of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff s The king trilogy, really good read reminded me a bit of Karen Marie Moning Fever series. unfortunately looks like i will have to wait till then end of the year for book three however it isn’t what i would call a painful cliffhanger.
Kelly:Β I just finished them yesterday too. I really liked them. Nothing like I expected when I started reading.
Tessa:Β King has totally made me squirrel! Serious βBarronβ feeling. Iβm only on the first one but definite Hot!!!
Tessa:Β Just finished both of the King books out and definitely a Barron feel. Not as awesome as Fever, but really, really good.
About book #1:
βI am the man who can find anything or anyone. For a price. And my price is you.β
When Mia Turnerβs brother goes missing in Mexico, while on an archaeological dig, she believes that life couldnβt get much worse. But when sheβs blocked at every turn from finding answers, by both local and U.S. authorities, she must turn to a man she swears is the devil.
Others might be fooled by his private jet, fine tailored suits, and disarming smile, but Mia knows something dark, sinister, and unnatural lurks behind those penetrating, pale-gray eyes. And the more she learns, the more she realizes she may never be free again.
I posted a review on Amazon…I’m interested to hear what you think if you read it! I had mixed feelings about it
I just finished the second one! And yes, King is sort of Barrons-esque. They end in major cliffhanger though, have to warn you!
Definitely worth the read, if for nothing elsefor King himself. I just hate waiting for #3.
I’m in book one but it’s starting to be a major turn off with all the similarities with Mac and Barrons π not cool.
Okay so I c u have been informed of this book I just messaged u abt. Anyhow I loved both books. Even though I wanted to slap Mia’s character plenty of times especially during book 2. But all in all I really enjoyed it. Anyhow just a quick question u guys which book is Barron’s from.

I hate waiting for number 3!! Love it read both books in 2 days!!
Finished book 2, waiting for the 3rd one. Its romance, mystery, literature, & witchcraft everything that perk my interest in a book. I can put this together with my best read such as 50 shades of Gray, The Fault in our Stars, Pulse, etc.
