Olivia Cunning – Sinners on Tour Series Reading Order

by Maryse on September 11, 2011 · 17 comments

in Reading Order Guide:

The series that started me on my rock star book obsession!! Steamy HOT stuff, but there’s more to it! “Normal” girls and famous rock stars collide, and the readers get to indulge in all the exciting tour fun, groupie madness, emotional angst and heartbreak that one would expect in such a relationship (except, maybe it’s the rock star that gets his heart broken ;) ). 100% guilty pleasure!!!

About the series:

Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll
Follow the sexual and romantic exploits of the rock band Sinners as they find love on the road.

As per the author (posted on her blog on November 20th 2011) regarding the upcoming releases (and the actual reading order vs. the publisher’s “release” order):

I probably shouldn’t announce these things, because “S*&t Happens” is my life’s motto, but everyone has been so patient (impatient?) with this entire process. Much more patient than I’ve been. ;-)

The 3rd (erm, 4th) book–Jace’s–tentatively called Hot Ticket will be released Spring 2013. *crosses fingers and offers sacrifices to the “release gods”*

The 4th (erm, 5th) book–Eric’s–tentatively called Snared will be released Fall 2013. (BTW – the author posted this as her “lookalike” Eric. “And for those of you who don’t like my fan page on Facebook, you’ve never seen the picture of the model who actually looks like my idea of Eric (sans the crazy hair and tattoos). So here. Eric Sticks.”)

love all your recommendations but had to stop reading after 6 chapters to much sex not enough story :-(

Maryse January 11, 2012 at 1:31 PM

Becks! Awwwwww bummer. :( It’s true it is LOADED in *it* ;) Eventually though, I really felt for Brian and his issues with Myrna. That story did eventually take hold, enough for me to crush nice and hard on Brian.

may have to try read it again then…..and it was funny especially eric lol

Becks, I felt the same way. I just finished Chapter 6 and am about to stop reading because I don’t feel the substance in the story. It was a little too much for me with the whole “Eric witnessing” and etc. Let me know if you’ve read the rest and if I should continue.
Maryse, I love love your recommendations, however I felt the same way as Becks on this specific one :( Love love Effortless, Thoughtless, TMS and many more of your recs, but this one felt a little off for me :( .

*hug* to both of you! We have plenty more to choose from, so no worries. This was actually the first book I read that started me on a contemporary romance kick (although I’d say this is more erotica, but I didn’t know much about other genres back then).

I was strictly “paranormal” at that time, for almost 3 years before I found this one.

And actually, I think it was a freebie when I found it, so I was doubly delighted!

Maryse you’re so sweet *hug back* :) I’m actually half way thru the book and I have to say it does get better and better. What got me to continue was Rock Hard actually hehe… I kinda cheated and decided to peek into Rock Hard to see what’s it about since I was thinking if you recommended it it has to be at least decent :) So just want to let you know I’m enjoying Backstage afterall and can’t wait to start on Rock Hard. Won’t doubt you again hehe

Oh yea I forgot to mention how Rock Hard got me hooked huh?! lol I didn’t know how Sed’s really like, which I’m sure like me everyone thought he was this jerk that’s only into one thing…… UNTIL I peeked into Rock Hard and found him to be irresitibly sexy and vunerable at the same time. WOW! I don’t want to give away too much, but after I saw a glimpse of him…I decided to give Backstage a chance and continue with the rest and boy am I glad I did! Brian’s such a sweetheart….my heart ached for him *sigh again, I don’t want to give away too much of Brian either hehe… Another rockstar that captured my heart <3

Yep! Brian at the beach in the car, when he was so upset and said “Of COURSE!!!….” and slammed his hand on the steering wheel. Ah!! I felt that tug in my heart for him.

Ok… I am so confused about what book is after Rock Hard! Goodreads has Hot Ticket as #3, but its not out till next month! It also has Double Time marked as #5 when it was released after Rock Hard! I started reading the sample to Double Time to see where it picks up! It just confused me more! I’m probably over-thinking this, but will someone please help?

Melissa Mincey February 7, 2013 at 12:40 AM

Rock Hard
Hot ticket
Snared (released fall 2013)
Double Time

According to this link from her site……

I think she is as annoyed as everyone from the sounds of things but it will get better. :)
This is the same stuff we are going through with Christine Warren only we don’t have to wait 14 books for new material. :)
Thanks Maryse for all you recommends!! I am now on a Contemp/erotica kick and can’t get back to para…. Loving all of them tho! :)

Sinners is one of my FAVORITE series! Yes, lots of hot steamy sex, but pretty good story lines too. Each of the band members has a distinct and engaging personality and back story and I like the way you still get glimpses of all the characters in the subsequent books so you see the progression of their lives too. Fun series! :-D

I really loved the sinners on tour series… But I got to know the guys from Exodus End and was wondering if there’s any books about them.
