in Reading Order Guide:

M/M LOVERS!!! If you haven’t heard of this series yet (or author – because he has written a few other much-loved books!!), I have some fellow readers that are BIG TIME loving these!! P.S. He has a book coming out tomorrow!!! :D

fabi:  I recently read Stygian by this author and loved it. So I’m interested in trying another of his books.

fabi: Just to clarify, Stygian is M/M PNR. I wouldn’t call it a “dark” read, although it does have it’s deep topics. I finished it last night and I’m still reeling from it. (from part of my review—> It is a brilliant story expertly executed. I took my time reading the book. The characters are so real that I feel like I met and got to know them in real life. I finished reading last night and I know that Watts, Kennedy, Quince and Jeremy will remain in my heart forever…

fabi: I’m reading Santino Hassell’s novels right now and, daayyyaamm, that man can write. His books suck me right in and I’m immediately connected to the characters. If you like mm stories, try some of his.

fabi: I finished the Sunset Park in, like, a day because I couldn’t put it down. I’m not sure I got any work done today at all. I’m in a total book fog. This next one needs to either blow it out of the park or be cute and funny. It’s really hard to read that next book after finishing an awesome one.

Teri: Fabi did you recommend the Five Boroughs series by Santino Hassell on a previous post? I just read them. Freaking fantastic!

fabi: Strong Signal (Cyberlove Book 1) by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell. Due out Feb 15. I have loved every book by Santino Hassell I have read. I hope the collaboration will end up like Elle Kennedy’s collab last year and be a great book.

About book #1:

Michael Rodriguez and Nunzio Medici have been friends for two decades. From escaping their dysfunctional families in the working-class neighborhood of South Jamaica, Queens, to teaching in one of the city’s most queer-friendly schools in Brooklyn, the two men have shared everything. Or so they thought until a sweltering night of dancing leads to an unexpected encounter that forever changes their friendship.

Now, casual touches and lingering looks are packed with sexual tension, and Michael can’t forget the feel of his best friend’s hands on him. Once problems rear up at work and home, Michael finds himself seeking constant escape in the effortless intimacy and mind-blowing sex he has with Nunzio. But things don’t stay easy for long.

When Michael’s world begins to crumble in a sea of tragedy and complications, he knows he has to make a choice: find solace in a path of self-destruction or accept the love of the man who has been by his side for twenty years.
