Following my heart, one book at a time...
bev: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. The pages are edged in black. I’m also reading Six of Crows. It’s delightful. So much fun.
Tasha J: …jumping into the Grishaverse with Six of Crows. I read the first recently in a spin-off of the same world, Shadow and Bone, and loved it. I plan to have read all from that series before the airing on Netflix in April. Goals!
But…. when a reader asked for more, the author teased us with this!
“lol. Well, I can say that there will be a spin-off.
“
About the latest release:

Now, she has her sights set on finding and saving the family she’s never known. What wasn’t in her plans is the sexy, mysterious stranger who seems to find her over and over, taking her breath every time.
Emily: Hi Maryse! A quick FYI that Ruins of Chaos (Legacy of the Nine Realms #3) by Amelia Hutchins went live today. Just wanted to share since I didn’t see it on your new release list, and there may be others that were anxiously waiting for it like I was.
Maryse: Thank you Emily!! I really appreciate you letting me know. I’m adding it now. 🙂
About book #1:
Bound as one, to love, honor, or burn. Book one of a stunning fantasy trilogy, this tale of witchcraft and forbidden love is perfect for fans of Kendare Blake and Sara Holland.
Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.
Tasha J: I finished it. 5 stars. I can’t voice my thoughts or feelings cuz they’ll spoil it, but holy moly do I have them.
Jackie: I just finished The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue on audio and am absolutely blown away. First off, Julia Whelan does an incredible narration. This is not my genre at all, I tend to steer clear of anything referenced as fantasy, so this took me a bit out of my comfort zone. But what a payoff, hands down the best book I’ve read in quite awhile. It’s a story to get immersed in and just so very different, all the stars-or should I say 7 stars (inside Addie LaRue joke).
