Hi Maryse

I’m looking for a book i read a while ago.

It’s about a herione that is married she lived a luxurious life but her husband occasionally hits her, he gets drunk and beats her. She also always wanted children but they struggle to get pregnant.

She meets the hero who also has past trauma, If i remember correctly he was married too but lost his wife and child.

The two of them fall for one another but she stays with her husband thinking she can fix him, she often chants to herself all the expensive things she has as a way to cope. read more

She asks:

Do you know a book where the hero’s brother dies leaving heroine pregnant.

The hero always wears gloves because of his past abuse.

His brother died due to some disease of which he doesn’t tell the heroine.

The hero was abused by his grandfather.

Anyone have a guess?
