Jenn: Loving all the make up talk; I have been struggling trying to find a new mascara since my go-to was discontinued. I have tried many and am just about ready to give up. So uh Amy I could use some help with that.Β :-)

Maryse:Β Yves St Laurent β€œEffet Faux Cils” Love it! I’m using Dior Show Blackout (I always fluctuate between the two). I’m always in for which mascara is someone’s holy grail, so let me know. I love trying news ones out. Mascara is a MUST for me and my see-through lashes.

Cheryl:Β Hey Amy & Maryse, and any one else who loves makeup- what foundation do you use? I just ran out ofΒ Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, and while I liked it was wondering if you guys loved what you were using.Β ;)

Michelle:Β I have a crap ton of nail polish and MAC pigments, MSFs, you name it. I used to do makeup as a part-time job in school. I’ve seriously cut back but still spend a good chunk of change on beauty products. Leslie M:Β Sooooo, any of you makeup experts, what products can you recommend to strengthen nails, keep cuticles good, fast dry/easy apply polish, etc. Β For the nail thing I def need long lasting, quick dry and streak free/easy application. I will be going for lighter colors to start as I cant deal with chips. Chips are less offensive with light color.

bev:Β I rarely do my nails but love polish. It does chip all the time on me. I know Amy and Michelle rec’dΒ Seche ViteΒ for a top coat and it worked really well….the one time I used it.Β I like the Essie colors but find the formulas hard for me to use as a novice/couple times a year nail polish wearer. read more

UPDATE!!! THIS LIST IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. πŸ˜‰ I’m posting it now ’cause it’s already loaded with so many goodies, but it will double (maybe even triple) in size by the time I’m done.

It never fails, we can be chatting up a storm about our latest favorites or what we’re reading or wanting to read, comparing notes, planning buddy reads, but when conversation is flowing, we find ourselves discussing some of our other favorite things, too. Like make up! Amy is our resident nail-polish guru, and always up to date with the latest MAC collections (amongst others), I just found my holy grail makeup up brushes, bev is in LOVE with Korean skin care routines, and so on… read more
