She asks:

Looking for a small town romance book where the Mmc rejects the fmc and she leaves.

She goes to her business late at night and 2 kids from her center attack her. I believe she walks with a limp after. She distances herself from everyone including her brother.

The mmc finds out afterwards.

Nichole needs our book help! Infidelity & I suspect this is a big hero grovel book!!

She asks:

Hey,

I’ve been following the blog for years and thought this would be the place to help for finding the title of a book I want to reread, but can’t remember the title.

The FMC is a nurse who discovers her husband’s infidelity as she also discovers she has cancer (but doesn’t share the diagnosis with the husband).

She instead puts a plan into action where she blackmails her husband to start working from home for a a period of time and block all communication with the younger mistress he works with. She says it’s just until their son goes to college. read more

Shaunygirl has a pretty great question, and I was all to happy to answer. My tastes have changed somewhat from my early book-a-day addiction, but in the grand scheme of things, if a book hooks me hard, I am ALL in for as long as it takes.

I was just curious about everybody’s page count sweet spot.

Lately books have seemed longer to me. I always like between 250-300. It’s long enough to feel connected to the characters but not to long for my adhd brain.

Hrmmm… back in the day (when I was reading a book a day – and all I did was read and devour every book I came across) the longer, the better. I hated leaving a world I was fully immersed in and got attached to. I hated leaving the characters. I’d actually mourn them. Miss them, think about them, and I would be DELIGHTED if there were more books out or coming out so that I could jump back in with them again. They felt like friends. Family. read more
