Amy has one for us! I think I read this one, only just a few months ago. Two actually, are coming to mind (similar genres, reclusive men, destruction or upset over creations), but one is in the mountains/woods, and the other is her parents beach rentals.

For me, it made me think of a book I read a few years ago that I LOVED like crazy called Crazy Good. HOLY MOLY WAS IT EVER!!! Although I can’t remember the details in regards to an MC, but I remember they met when he was about to be deployed.
But, it’s probably not the book she’s looking for (though I must insist you read it!!).

1. This was a series maybe or just a long book. She went to a different country got on a boat that is known for highest bidder and sex trafficking. She is in the search for her best friend who she thinks went to the boatas a journalist.

Do you know which book it is? It has an audiobook version so it would be a semi-popular book.

I *think* I read this a few years ago but I’m not positive on the timeline.
I can only really remember one scene, the h is athletic but she’s also very competitive to the point that she wasn’t allowed to play competitive sports in school because of her antics.
