Reader Question – They get stranded in a snow storm together, and she doesn’t recognize that he’s a rock star!

February 16, 2017 By Maryse Leave a Comment

Molly was searching, and Kathy solved it!!!

And BECAUSE it involves a rock star, and I know there are PLENTY of us that are fans of that genre, I had to post it anyway. So if you’re looking for a new one, and haven’t read this one yet, maybe this is your next! 😀

She asked:

Molly: Maryse – I’m looking for a book I read 2-ish years ago. It finally showed in PA, and it made me think of this story.

This book is about a snow storm. The H/h get into an accident and end up stranded on a lonely road in ditch/snow drift. They spend the night together in his truck keeping warm. read more

Reader Question – Who’s this cover model?

February 9, 2017 By Maryse 12 Comments

Yep. Short and sweet my friends, but definitely a question we’ve all had for various books.

So… Shelley asks:

Fake Fiancée <— Is that Brock O’Hurn???

Nope!!! But I wondered that myself, ’cause that’s who I thought it was too.

In this case, the author herself (Ilsa Madden-Mills), answered, AND has given us SOME “behind the books” info on this one saying:

“Fake Fiancée is probably the sweetest book I’ve ever written. There’s no huge drama…it’s a feel good, romantic comedy and if you wanted to read it….haha.” read more

Tracey was desperately looking for a MOB BOSS one, and then she answered her own question when she found it!

That said, in case this one might interest some of you (or in case you were trying to remember it, too), I thought I’d post it.

She asked:

I’m going crazy looking for a book. I read the blurb – downloaded the sample on my kindle and then instead of buying it, I accidentally deleted the sample! Can you and your posses help me please?

The heroine is the daughter of a mob boss (?) who leads a very sheltered life. She gets sent away and ends up in New Orleans (?) and meets a tattoo artist. read more

Reader Question – Where’s Maryse’s Top 2016 list?

February 2, 2017 By Maryse Leave a Comment

Yep! I’ve received quite a few of this very question over the last week or so. It seems in the midst of all the Holiday fun, my “Best of” list got lost in the shuffle, so I’m happy to feature this reader question today, in case anyone else missed it, also:

Tracey: I don’t remember if you listed your personal 2016 favorites list and I can’t find it here. If you did, would you please either repost it or let me know where to find it. If you didn’t, then we are anxiously waiting for it. 🙂 read more

Reader Question – The autobiography-type book about a bachelor guy and his many salacious conquests…

January 26, 2017 By Maryse 3 Comments

Caitlina needs our help with a book that was featured in one of my “book release” lists, that she’s looking for! An autobiography? Or is fiction written like an autobiography? Either way, now I’m curious, too!

She asks:

Hi!

There was a book release list quite a while back that featured a book about the chronicles or autobiography about himself.

A bachelor guy and his many salacious conquests and its placed in New York maybe? I have been looking for it for at least the past year its driving me crazy! read more
