Reader Question – The book about the female guitar player waiting to audition for a band…

By 5 Comments

Susan needs our book help! And LOL!!! I totally understand where she’s coming from. I’ve read SO many books in my lifetime, that I jumble a few of the storylines together sometimes.

She asks:

Hi

I hope it’s okay to ask questions. I’m looking for a book I read, but of course I cannot remember the title or author. It may be part of a series. Can’t remember that either. Hey, I’m getting old and I read a lot. A lot.

Anyway, what I do remember is that the book starts with a female guitar player waiting to audition for a band that lost their bass or rhythm guitarist. She makes the band because she can basically reproduce the missing/dead guitarist’s work. read more

Reader Question – The rock star romance where she goes on tour with them to keep them in check & they think she’s uptight…

By 4 Comments

Kara needs our book help! Okay so the subject sounds a little generic as this is a popular trope (she goes on tour with them for her job) but there’s plenty of detail below.

Also this is one of my favorite tropes but it’s 2nd best (to me) to the trope where “the fan meets the rock star at a meet and greet”, but I’ve read. bunch like this so I’m anxious to see which one it is.

She asks:

RE: What’s the name of that book?

Hi,

I often read some of your book recommendations from your blog! I’m not sure if I found this particular book from one of your suggestions or not but there is a good chance that I did. I absolutely can’t remember the name of it. I’ll post the plot below.. read more

Penelope Ward – Rockstar Series Reading Order

ROCK STAR ROMANCE FANS/PENELOPE WARD FANS (That’s me!!! —> I’m a HUGE fan of both!!!) her latest release: The Drummer’s Heart JUST. WENT. LIVE!!! Each one CAN be read as a standalone, but it’s an interconnected series. 🙂

Mary Ann: I read Penelope Ward’s the Rocker’s Muse and the Drumers Heart. Love both books! They have the rockstar shenanigans, all the feels and I even shed some tears.

About book #1

No one but me knew why I was actually in the California desert that day. Nestled deep within the desolate, rocky area was a recording studio. When a door suddenly opened, a man mistook me for someone he was supposed to be interviewing for a job. The next thing I knew, I was whisked inside. The position? An assistant on the upcoming tour for one of America’s most famous rock bands. Pretty exciting opportunity for a twenty-two-year-old, just out of college. read more

Reader Question – The book where the heroine wins a date with the famous hero and ends up going on tour with him…

Cici is looking for this one! Oh I LOVE rock star books (one of my favorite tropes – nothing better than all the turmoil and excitement that comes with a normal girl dating a celebrity)!!

She asks:

Okay I’m looking for a rockstar book where the heroine wins a date over a contest with the famous hero and ends up going on tour with him but
