I’ve been dying to read a book for a while now and my memory is really vague on it.
All I remember is that our hero is a prince. And this normal occasion of inviting elegant and suitable ladies to the palace so the prince will choose his bride was ongoing on that particular day.
Looks like the heroine (just a commoner) at somewhere else was going somewhere to visit someone but then mistakenly got packed in the car with the other ladies that were set for the occasion. On getting to the palace, a test was conducted for the ladies.
Prince Maxence is tall, hot, ripped, and loaded.
Why would a man like that disappear?

And here’s Sue’s second question of the day. Hrmmm… this one stumps me (kind of a general summary) but there is just enough detail that it might spark someone’s memory.
She asks:
The hero is someone of importance (King, Prince, other royalty, government official, mega businessman, etc.)
There might’ve been threats involved, but the H invites the h and her family to come stay with him and his house by the water.
The last thing I remember is to get some privacy between the two they go to an old cottage not far from the main house. This cottage also somehow belongs to his family and they camp out there for a night or two. Nothing else to do they talk and get to know the true sides of each other.

Kathy P: I did enjoy the Wedding Date. It is an interracial romance that takes place in the Bay Area/LA and since I am originally from the Bay Area it made it for interesting to read. Her new book is on this list.
