Reader Question… Solved! The book about the brothers that can’t leave the island…

May 31, 2018 By Maryse 4 Comments

Lisa needs us, guys!! This one sounds like one of our beloved Paranormal series, and almost makes me think she’s looking for Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series (I LOVVVVVVED those so hard). But there are details in her description that I don’t remember… so no doubt there are more series in this genre?

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

Im looking for the title and the author of this books/series. I remember the story but cant remember the title.

Book one is about a woman who is summoned to another world. She arrived at a mansion in an island. Inside the mansion lived a family that consisted of brothers (I forgot how much but its around 5-7 I guess?). The oldest is very rude, the youngest is the one who summon her. read more

Reader Question… Solved! The book where she plays an Avenged Sevenfold song in her audition…

May 24, 2018 By Maryse 8 Comments

Kate has a reader question for us! Ohhhh I love rock stars AND I love Avenged Sevenfold. I can’t wait to find out what book this is!

She asks:

Hello!

I have been going through all my rock star romances, trying to find this one.

She is auditioning to be a replacement/temp in a band right before they hit the road on tour. I know she dazzles them with her audition, playing “Hail to the King” by Avenged Sevenfold.

Any thoughts on this one?

Anyone?

Oh boy! This one sounds like it could have good-angst potential, but from what I gather, it’s not out yet… let’s find our which one it is, and then we can stalk it! 😉

Shanty asks:

Hello!!

I read a blurb of an upcoming book and now I can’t remember the title.

It’s about a lady who comes back earlier from a trip and when she arrives at her fiance’s apartment there is a man walking in front of the door. The woman’s fiance is cheating on her with the man’s girlfriend. read more

Reader Question… Solved! The book about the billionaire that propositions the waitress to marry him…

April 19, 2018 By Maryse 10 Comments

Ooooooooh a billionaire book!!! This one sounds like it gets angsty, and I like the initial premise. 😉

Tracie asks:

It’s me again. I’ve read a book that i really loved, but i might have misplaced it.

I don’t know the author or name but it was about a billionaire who stops at a diner in the middle of nowhere, and out of desperation propositions a young waitress with wild colored hair to marry him in name only, she won’t have to worry about money and he’ll get his inheritance.

She agrees,

and when she has fullfilled her contract, she hasn’t seen him in years and finally meets him again at a big fundraiser dinner. Of course this time he’s attracted to her, but she has an agenda.

In the end it all goes south and she heads up to his cabin, ends up stopping at the diner where she first met him,

while she’s there she’s lost in her thoughts and hears a helicopter overhead. He arrives at the diner to win her back, declarations are made, blah blah blah.

Really want to re-read. Any ideas? So helpful last time. read more
