Adriana is looking for this one! Unrequited love, and probably groveling… 😉 And I swear I had a question just like this recently, so I’m wondering if it spawned a memory in this reader, because I don’t think it’s the same one (but the trope is).

Casey is looking for this one! Ohhhhh spicy!!!! Does he become problematic? I’m thinking the “obsessed” might be a stalker-ish obsession since she mentions dark romance?

She asks:

I’m looking for a fiction/dark romance book, I originally read it maybe 2010ish, found at a used book store.

I believe the male main character is a baseball player and he meets and becomes obsessed with the female heroine, I think she was also married. They end up having an affair and he becomes more and more obsessed with her, I can’t remember how it ends but I don’t think it’s a happy ending. read more

Allllssssoooo… the “leaving on a bus” makes me think of that devastating, heartbreak scene in “Love, In English” by Karina Halle. HOLY. MOLY. But that’s not the book. 😉

Savanna needs our book help! There’s a ton of detail so I’m sure we’ll find it! I’ve read quite a few like this back in my dark “kidnap read” days, so I’m SO curious what this one will be. It sounds super-intense and emotional.
