She asks:

I need help finding a book. I’m pretty sure it was a part of a mafia series.

This particular book the main male character suffers from blackouts because childhood trauma where his sister and he were tortured because of a genetic condition that makes them less susceptible to pain. His sister dies and he’s haunted by her memory (she’s not a ghost, just a hallucination).

Her brother keeps her at a convent to keep her safe and that’s where he meets her (I’m pretty sure anyway). read more

Although I don’t remember the book name and the characters I’m sure it was written by an author who’s not overrated and they’re not underrated either

Not sure if this is the right place, I just saw a post about someone looking for a book about twin sisters, I knew right away which book that was soon as the person described it lol.

The one I’m looking for is about 2 sisters it’s fiction, at least 15 years old probably older though.

The 2 sisters own an art gallery, they deal with Ming vases and other sculptures. One or both of the sisters realize they’ve unknowingly bought some forgeries, and resold some. So one sister goes to the home of a woman she sold a forgery to and pretends to trip so she can break the forgery and return the woman’s money so the woman doesnt know it was fake. read more

Alfiya is looking for this one! It almost sounds like Outlander but the twist in her question is that HE is pulled into her time and not the other way around. I dunno… it still sounded very Outlander-ish (like book one and two), but then it switches up again in her question. And yet still… Outlander keeps popping in and out of this one, for me.

This is a long one (pretty much the whole book – lots and lots of detail) so tread carefully….
