Miss Calloway is lookin for this one, and I have no idea but it sounds like it might get crazy!

She asks:

Can’t remember if the setting was in HS or college but the leads are still students.

The heroine came from a poor family living with only her mom whom was constantly leaving her as a kid alone starving for days in their apartment. Her dad is a powerful man (not sure if mafia type) who shockingly abuses her sexually.

Idena needs our book help! Okay well, this could be numerous books that we’ve read however the “serial killer” and “detective” detail might narrow it down nicely. 😀

Angel needs our book help! Okay my first instinct is to say it’s Reclaiming the Sand by Meredith Walters (because I know she was his bully), but I haven’t read it yet, so I don’t know the details. What I do know is everyone who read it seemed to absolutely love it!

Morty is looking for this one! Oh WOW we are on a roll over the last few days with a *ahem* specific trope. But often, the trope is in the “reveal” or the twist, so I’m scared to say anything more, other than, I wanna read it!

The novel starts out with the female MC in the hospital due to a miscarriage, where she is told due to an infection she can no longer have kids, if I recall.
