Good morning! Hope everyone enjoys Transcend and Epoch today!

Leslie M April 9, 2018 at 6:41 AM

Happy Monday! I am looking forward Rebel Heir…that cover. *fans self*

I am very reluctant about Transcend/Epoch. :( It doesn’t seem like my thing and with my loss of reading mojo, I am extra picky lately.

The Pecker Briefs??? *giggles at title*

MichelleS April 9, 2018 at 8:11 AM

Finished Transcend. Just WOW. Going straight into Epoch. Blind. Didn’t even read your blurb up there!

Kandace M April 9, 2018 at 10:54 AM

I’m so excited for the second Jewel E Ann book. I’ve been on a reading high this week. I read Ride by Harper Dallas yesterday. I stayed up to 3 AM reading because I couldn’t stop reading. I was so captivated by their story. The secondary characters were amazing. I hope they get their own books. I really thought this was going to be a typical sports romance trope. The story was a lot more emotional than I was expecting. I can’t believe this the author’s debut novel. I felt like I was on the slopes with the team!!

Maryse April 9, 2018 at 11:05 AM

Kandace I need to look that one up! I don’t remember seeing it… but YAY for the recommendation!! :D

Maryse April 9, 2018 at 11:06 AM

I want to start it NOW MichelleS!!!! Well the first one… ;)

Amy April 9, 2018 at 12:16 PM

Leslie, I think you should give Transcend a shot. I’ll admit I went in with mediocre hopes (I’ve been SO critical and intolerant of books lately) but I was pulled into it immediately and seamlessly. No do-I-or-don’t-I-like-this-one thoughts. Swayze is so easy to meld with, and her obsession with and opinion on names (thanks in part to her parents’ odd pick) is entertaining to say the least.

Give it until 15%…come on, Leslie, this many blog friends can’t be wrong. ;)

Kooloo April 9, 2018 at 2:39 PM

Leslie babe JUST DO IT lol

PS yup – still planning on naming my next child or pet SWAYZE

bev April 9, 2018 at 2:55 PM

Leslie, you be you.

Amy April 9, 2018 at 3:54 PM

*snickers at bev*

Wait, does this mean you might have a child some time in the future, Kooloo??

As long as you keep the stork over in your neck of the woods. I shut my babymaker down a while ago and intend to keep it that way…

MichelleS April 9, 2018 at 4:14 PM

Kooloo – Yoo-hoo!!! I was SO BUMMED that I finished Transcend & it wasn’t past midnight, and I was all in a tizzy for the feels… soooooo… I started her series (Jack & Jill), and OMG, now I’m hooked on it too. I love that I am biting my nails deciding whether to start Epoch or finish book one in Jack & Jill. Jill is badass.

MichelleS April 9, 2018 at 4:15 PM

Crazy Swayze…. I love all her weirdness.
The name thing is so her. And Griffin?!?!? Rawr. Triangles drive me absolutely batty, but I loved it.

MichelleS April 9, 2018 at 4:17 PM

My baby maker may be on ice in some frozen lab waiting to be studied by some med students, for all I know.

Kooloo April 9, 2018 at 5:11 PM

That cliffy at the end of Transcend almost killed me!
But to quote a very wise women we both know: “You BE You”

NOW I want to do a re-read Jill&Jack – forgot how much I loved Jewel’s writing – just need to finish my BR of Emma’s “In Harmony” (which I’m also lurving btw) with Naynay -so yaya

still can’t think a darn deja-vu moment for the DUET Giveaway :(

Jan April 9, 2018 at 6:44 PM

*bites fingernail nervously* I know how you feel Leslie. I’m at 37% and not in love with Transcend yet. Ummmm??????? But I will keep going. I don’t hate it. And I really liked Look The Part so I know Jewel Ann can write. I just. Um. I dunno……. We’ll see.

Amy April 9, 2018 at 7:29 PM

HA MichelleS…maybe they’ve transplanted it already and it is happily babymaking as we speak. :P

Jan…there is never going to be a book where every single one of us loves it. If it’s not working for you, then it’s just not. And if you end up DNFing it? No biggie. You gave it a shot. ;)

bev April 9, 2018 at 9:26 PM

Well we are having a blog baby.

Who will he take after?

I guess if majority rules…

He will be on the shorter side of average with curly hair. A nurse with a fondness for a strong cocktail and nutella. He will prefer to sleep under a blanket fort and occasionally indulge in a good cry. His morning always start with at least 3 cups of coffee, preferably with peppermint creamer. On weekends he is an amateur marine biologist with a focus on manatees. At Christmas he insists on a fake tree, flocked of course, due to an unreasonable fear of finding a live squirrel. Because he is so fond of an accent he occasionally affects a Scottish one. No one makes fun of him because he is kind with a strong wit and love of laughter but with a strange fondness for bullies and so has always fostered strong friendships with them throughout his life.

Robyn April 9, 2018 at 10:08 PM

I Transcended, now I’m Epoching! What the heck does Epoch mean anyway? Seriously, it’s really bugging me. ***scratches head***

I’m coming up to the halfway mark on Epoch. I love Swayze and Griffs relationship. I really hope they make it. Nate had his chance. Gotta go read more!

Jan April 10, 2018 at 1:21 AM

I’ve gotten sidetracked with the new Christina Lauren, Love And Other Words which popped into my kindle this morning. I like it so far :D

Jean April 10, 2018 at 4:54 AM

I’m half way through Epoch! Love this duet! Love, love, love Griffin! I flew through Transcend!

Leslie M April 10, 2018 at 5:43 AM

Bev, you forgot that his favorite book is Twilight. ;)

Jewel April 10, 2018 at 7:22 AM

Hey! Can I jump on here to thank you for giving my Transcend Duet a try? I was going to pop in yesterday, but I had to relinquish four precious release day hours to dealing with a pirated book on iBooks. SO frustrating. Then my kids crashed through the door after school and my day was gone! Lol
Anyway, the duet is complete and on KindleUnlimted for you voracious readers. <3 And check out the signed duet giveaway Maryse posted this morning! Again, THANK YOU!!! xo

Maryse April 10, 2018 at 8:14 AM

LOL bev!!! I love your sweet vision of him.

I hope we get to see a picture of our beautiful blog baby. <3

Grey April 10, 2018 at 8:53 AM

bev, you legitimately broke me with your
vision of our blog baby. It is perfect. Absolute perfection. Thank you for that. And for being you.

And for all of you for being yous. Now this nurse is going to toss some glitter around and then climb into her blankie fort with some chocolate and indulge in a little cry… Cripes I really hope my babymaker is on ice somewhere too.

Grey April 10, 2018 at 8:58 AM

Oh and gah…thank you to Jewel! For writing!!! Please don’t stop!! So sorry you are dealing with crazy book pirates, I hope you are able to get to the bottom of it. Congratulations on your book release, we are wishing you much success… As you can see here, We are loving it!

Jean April 10, 2018 at 9:09 AM

Jewel! The duet is awesome, as is your flawless writing! I’m at 50% of Epoch! I can’t remember the last time I read books so fast! I swear if things don’t end good with Griffin, I will be majorly brokenhearted! Love him!

Amy April 10, 2018 at 11:16 AM

Hi Jewel! I’m so glad you popped in so we could give you a HUGE thanks for creating such an addicting and unique story!!

You like hugs? ‘Cause we (well, MOST of us *side-eyes bev*) love to give hugs around here. :D

Cheryl April 10, 2018 at 4:43 PM

I’m at 25% in Transcend. Captivated by the story and have “ideas” of where this is going.

Jewel- thank you so much for a beautifully written story! ;)

bev April 10, 2018 at 7:35 PM

Well, thank you Grey.

All those poor frozen baby makers.
