I’m so excited for the second Jewel E Ann book. I’ve been on a reading high this week. I read Ride by Harper Dallas yesterday. I stayed up to 3 AM reading because I couldn’t stop reading. I was so captivated by their story. The secondary characters were amazing. I hope they get their own books. I really thought this was going to be a typical sports romance trope. The story was a lot more emotional than I was expecting. I can’t believe this the author’s debut novel. I felt like I was on the slopes with the team!!
Kandace I need to look that one up! I don’t remember seeing it… but YAY for the recommendation!! 😀
Leslie, I think you should give Transcend a shot. I’ll admit I went in with mediocre hopes (I’ve been SO critical and intolerant of books lately) but I was pulled into it immediately and seamlessly. No do-I-or-don’t-I-like-this-one thoughts. Swayze is so easy to meld with, and her obsession with and opinion on names (thanks in part to her parents’ odd pick) is entertaining to say the least.
Give it until 15%…come on, Leslie, this many blog friends can’t be wrong. 😉

Kooloo – Yoo-hoo!!! I was SO BUMMED that I finished Transcend & it wasn’t past midnight, and I was all in a tizzy for the feels… soooooo… I started her series (Jack & Jill), and OMG, now I’m hooked on it too. I love that I am biting my nails deciding whether to start Epoch or finish book one in Jack & Jill. Jill is badass.
Crazy Swayze…. I love all her weirdness.
The name thing is so her. And Griffin?!?!? Rawr. Triangles drive me absolutely batty, but I loved it.
My baby maker may be on ice in some frozen lab waiting to be studied by some med students, for all I know.

Who will he take after?
I guess if majority rules…
He will be on the shorter side of average with curly hair. A nurse with a fondness for a strong cocktail and nutella. He will prefer to sleep under a blanket fort and occasionally indulge in a good cry. His morning always start with at least 3 cups of coffee, preferably with peppermint creamer. On weekends he is an amateur marine biologist with a focus on manatees. At Christmas he insists on a fake tree, flocked of course, due to an unreasonable fear of finding a live squirrel. Because he is so fond of an accent he occasionally affects a Scottish one. No one makes fun of him because he is kind with a strong wit and love of laughter but with a strange fondness for bullies and so has always fostered strong friendships with them throughout his life.
