in Reading Order Guide:

UPDATE!!! Our book crew is losing their minds over this duet, and book #2 (Epoch) is going live at midnight. And guess what??? The author is offering a signed set right here for one lucky commenter!

OMG THIS BLURB JOLTED ME HARD!!! He’s a professor mourning his wife and he has to hire a nanny for their baby… but she knows things about him she shouldn’t know… (and the conclusion is going live in just a little over a week!)

R: I started on Transcend last night and it kept me up til 3am. Maryse, you need to read this one! It’s going to hurt. I can tell!!

Cheryl: Love Jewel E. Ann, but think I’ll wait for book 2 to be released before starting Transcend.

Heather: Yesssss!!!!!!

Misty: I’m reading this now! It’s so good. I love her books.

About book #1:

An unexpected tragedy leaves Professor Nathaniel Hunt a widower alone with a newborn baby.

He hires a nanny. She’s young, but well-qualified, with a simple life, a crazy name obsession, and a boyfriend she met at the grocery store.

Over time, he discovers she knows things about him—things that happened before she was born—like a hidden scar on his head, his favorite pizza, and how he cheated on a high school Spanish test.

She speaks familiar words and shares haunting memories that take him back to over two decades earlier when he lost his best friend in a tragic accident.

“I’m afraid of what’s going to happen when you realize I’m not her.”

I’m trying to slow down, but I can’t!

Susan April 1, 2018 at 9:24 PM

This book!!!!! Sooooooo goood!!! It’s really hard waiting for Epoch!!!

Lisa Aiello April 2, 2018 at 7:35 AM

I have so much love for Epoch!!! I can’t quit thinking about it. The good thing about getting an ARC is you get to read it before everyone. The bad thing about getting an ARC is you get to read it before everyone…but then you can’t talk about it…and all I want to do is go on and on until there are no more words!!

Maryse April 2, 2018 at 9:01 AM

Lisa I LOVE this author. And I’m so captivated by this premise. Almost sounds like… well I don’t want to say what I think it is. ;) But either way I know it’ll be awesome and right up my alley. My heart is aching just at blurb for book 1.

R. Renee April 2, 2018 at 9:18 AM

I finished it late last night. I need book two in a bad way. I don’t know if this is supposed to be a love triangle or not but it feels like one and I’m head over heels for Nate. Thirty six year old widower and a 21 year old quirky blonde? Obviously my catnip…

marina April 2, 2018 at 12:57 PM

Finished this morning and I NEED Epoch!! Ugh, it’s going to be a tough wait and what to read while waiting?

Nay April 2, 2018 at 9:56 PM

CH’s don’t usually bother me, but I’m going to wait this one out! Just in case. But I can’t wait to read both of them back to back!!

Jan April 3, 2018 at 1:17 AM

Nay I might do the same. I’m not sure about this one??? Sounds a little different. But her last one, Look The Part, was terrific, so I might take a chance……..

Stacy April 8, 2018 at 6:30 PM

I waited until today to read book one and it was sooo good! Can’t wait for tomorrow. Amazing author….love all her books!

Lindsay April 8, 2018 at 7:00 PM

Janet April 8, 2018 at 8:54 PM

Waiting for the sequel to go live! Holding my breath! Deja vu? Waiting for the sequel to go live! Holding my breath! GAH!!

Ashley April 8, 2018 at 9:59 PM

I JUST finished Transcend and … oh. my. goodness! I’m going to be at work all day tomorrow thinking about it and waiting until I can read Epoch. This is one of those books where you don’t realized you’ve stopped breathing. It just grabs you and pulls you right in. I couldn’t put it down! THIS is why I love books.

Desiree Griggs April 8, 2018 at 11:15 PM

I would love to give a home to these beauties! Thanks for the chance!

Megan Hansen April 9, 2018 at 3:02 AM

I would love a chance for this duo!!

Melissa Jones April 9, 2018 at 5:06 AM

I have fell in love with this authors books over the past few months through reading When Life Happened, Look The Part, Undeniably You, Idle Bloom, and Scarlet Stone, every one of these amazing books a 5+ star read for me!!! I still have more of her backlist to get to and of course this new Transcend duet, and can’t wait to immerse myself in more of her brilliant stories!!! I have had deja vu moments and they always kinda freak me out LOL!
Thanks so much for the chance!!!

Grey April 9, 2018 at 5:10 AM

Whoa!!! Now this would be a most excellent prize poccession! I thank both you, Maryse and Ms. Ann, in advance for the opportunity.

I read and reviewed Transcend on Saturday and 5 star loved it. Hoping to get to Epoch today. In answer to the déjà vu question, yes…some nigglings, but not on *this* level.

Again, thanks for the opportunity and congratulations on your book release!

elena April 9, 2018 at 5:49 AM

I cannot wait to read this duet! Sometimes I have this feeling that I have lived something before but it’s a passing thought

Dri Harada April 9, 2018 at 6:37 AM

WOW! Amazing giveaway! I’m looking forward to read this duo, sounds so good! Thank you so much for the chance!

Susan M April 9, 2018 at 2:28 PM

Love this author! I have not read the first book because I was waiting for the second… Would love a signed copy of the duet! Appreciate the chance! I have had deja vu moments, the first in grammar school when I won a braided rug for our living room. I knew I had to take a chance on that raffle, I just knew.

MichelleS April 9, 2018 at 6:07 PM

I have deja vu constantly! Mostly it’s during a conversation with some friends, at a dinner or such, and we get talking, and then WHAM, I think to myself, I’ve already had this conversation before. Gives me chills every time.

Jean April 10, 2018 at 10:01 AM

Please don’t hurt my heart…..Griffin, I’m here for you if you need me!

Nicole Sands April 10, 2018 at 12:23 PM

I have my moments of deja vu usually when I’m speaking to someone, and I say to myself I’ve had this convo already.
Thanks for the chance. I love Jewel’s writing, but I have to admit I’m scared to read this duet because it’s a triangle with two great guys. It kills me when one of them gets hurt, especially if it’s the one I connect with more. I need my big girl panties!!!!

Carissa April 10, 2018 at 3:23 PM

Yes, I have. I visited a hospital and I stopped as soon as I went through the doors on the peds. floor saying “whoa, have i been here before, bc its so familiar?” Turns out I WAS there bc I was hopitalized around the age of 10, my parents were present with me and they confirmed it.

Janet Watts April 10, 2018 at 4:11 PM

I have those deja vu moments occasionally. It feels strange!

Joanna Ortiz April 10, 2018 at 5:02 PM

Entering to win.

Jenn Donald April 10, 2018 at 5:04 PM

This sounds like a great read – definitely have to check it out! I have lots of deja vu moments, it’s pretty weird! :)

Dana L Stusse April 10, 2018 at 5:58 PM

It’s Jewel E. Ann, need I say more? Seriously, since I read “When Life Happened”, I’ve been on JEA Express!! Toot Toot.

etsub April 11, 2018 at 12:27 AM

GIVEAWAY!!!!!!! Woho. Dejavu moments… ehhhh…
OK so I took a test about two years ago for my finals and a week later we were given our scores and when I, God I shudder just thinking about it, I was about to took my physics exam result. It was like I had already been standing at that place and saw my result so it was weird scary. And let me tell you the result is one that should not been seen even one time let alone 2 so imagine my horror

Ria April 11, 2018 at 1:41 AM

I experience dejavu often. It makes me feel off balanced when it happens.

Betul E. April 12, 2018 at 7:09 AM

I have Deja Vu moments all the time. However, I mostly don’t remember if it happened before in real life or in my dream.

Melanie April 12, 2018 at 6:42 PM

Just started Epoch. This series is definitely captivating! I get deja vu moments when a song comes on that brings memories to life or visiting a place that I haven’t been since I was a child.

Dena April 12, 2018 at 8:05 PM

I have not started this duet yet but I am intrigued with it. This is a great giveaway thank you for the opportunity!

Kooloo April 12, 2018 at 9:22 PM

OK soooo I still can’t think of any D-V moments

BUTTTT I find a really cool quote about it…

I LOVED THIS DUET! Truly Epic/Epoch and def’ re-read material
Best so far in 2018 for me for sure

*please pick me please pick me please pick me*
