Poughkeepsie
I just wanna tell you all…. I’m reading a MAGNIFICENT book. This is one to be shared ASAP!! Captured me from the very first line. I just can’t stop thinking about it (at work) and I’m only 20% in (and I had been reading intently for what felt like hours!!) To my delight, it’s yet again another LONG book. Love those!
Remember “Finding Home“? It’s sorta like that (but thankfully, everyone is in their mid 20’s). Compassion and kindness to someone who normally would not receive it, two beautiful souls, and the friendship that is building absolutely has my heart. Absolutely. I have a strong feeling this one may end up being a serious favorite.

Poughkeepsie is touching. 3 boys who were in foster home together, they were abused and now they are 25 year old men out on their own. It’s all about coping. The guy in Poughkeepsie is not an alpha. He is awkward. A virtuoso. In love with her smiles… He’s homeless and he’s got some issues to overcome. It was a good read though.
It was also recommended by E.L. James! (thanks Bia for sending me that tidbit).
I just couldn’t wait to tell you about it. I’ll be reading this all weekend.

thank you! I’ve started two books this week and stopped reading them because they weren’t up to par 🙁 I read every Kristen Ashley book and am in withdrawl. Will be downloading this ASAP!
YAY!! While you’re finishing this one, I’ll start on Mystery Man and maybe add a few more paragraphs to my own blasted novels. 🙂
LOL!!! Yes please, Tina. We need more Ryan!!
Just bought it! It sounds like a really good read.
I’ve been stalking your blog and Amazon…. reading reviews and trying to find that next *something* that will fix my craving. I almost went and busted out my BDB boys (for the millionth time) but you’ve gotten me hooked on Rock Stars. I’ve also started and abandoned a few books this week.
Most excellent!@ I just purchased and will start after my Kristen Ashley obsession is over! Love her, even if they are all pretty similar, I laughed out loud all day reading 2nd book in Rock Chick series. lol
Maryse! You’re so welcome! Because E.L.James sent this to my email, I thought ” I will send it to Maryse, and she will let us know how good it is” teehee! I was right ..it sounds like it IS a good one. I’m sure I’ll read after you…
🙂
I read this book and instantly fell in love! It is so moving and different. I loved the relationship between the sisters and the way they talked to each other–it was real. I was so moved by the way the author portrays the characters in this book. She writes them with all their flaws but they have a beauty to them that still shines through and the way she handles such delicate subjects is awesome. Can’t wait for the sequel to come out! Just really a great read!
