Sweet Dreams
BAD BOY ALERT!!! Ok I think I found one!!!! Another (older?) Brian/Travis type and WOW. It’s a long book, I can tell, and I’m SO into it (a little over a quarter of the way in and I’ve been reading for awhile now). I posted this on my Facebook, and figured I’d post it here, too.
If you want to indulge with me, here’s what I wrote 😉
“Ohhhhh I found one. Oh my he’s awesome. Nothing’s really happening yet and yet, I can’t put it down cause everything is happening. So far, so amazing. Alpha and awesome and brooding like no other. Like another Brian but more alpha. Infuriating and possessive yet so unbelievably sweet but in his way. You guys… Wow.”
and then…
“O.M.G. Whoooooooo! Just so…
…The tension is off the charts!”
and then…
Okay 😉 I’m letting ya’all in early again – so we got a bad-ass, bad-boy, ex-cop, bounty hunter, motorcycle riding, bartending, uber-tattoo’d awesomely AWESOME BDB style ‘tude guy, and (more like him in his town), and some serious ALPHA stuff going on. Possible love triangles on a few levels (I am wondering if he’s gonna tick me off real bad later)… The stuff he says can both make you SO mad, and then turn around and make you swoon – but his “romantic” is so NOT. AND SO is. It’s how he talks. *sigh* I HEART him!!! His name is Tate.”
So that’s all I got. Wanna read along? 😉 Looks like it’s a series too, so if this one is as promising as I think it is, we might have a lot more fun ahead of us!

I think i’ve read every suggestion you gave. I’m currently finishing up City of Ghosts by Stacia Kane. What a great series! Eeks…I’m a Terrible junkie now and won’t have a fix for a few more months! Can’t wait to get started on Sweet Dreams! It sounds delicious!! 😀

Loved, loved, loved Sweet Dreams!!!! It is almost 3 a.m. and I just finished it. The next in the series is “The Gamble”, same series. Will start it tomorrow as my husband is going out of town. Thanks for your great website!

Is it wrong that I seriously debated not to go see breaking dawn…..because I wanted to keep reading this book one minute I am like awwwww the next I wanna smack him in the you know where………..andhe makes me nuts……crap…….I think I love him
I just finished this and I want more. Tate has officially been added to my boyfriend list.
This author is amazing I have read everything she has written and have never, not once closed a book unsatisfied. Tate is an awesome character and Lauren is very real and you feel like you know her.
if you liked this one deff read the rest as they all have the same sort of alpha hot guy thing going on. Kristen’s Rock chick series is worth checking out and is the only one of her books that are brought out in book form.
my personal fave is At Peace. It’s connected to another series and Joe is the ultimate Alpha hot guy if I could bring any character in any book to life it would be him( and I wouldn’t leave the guy alone! I’d just hang off his arm marveling at his awesomeness ….he is an alpha hot guy he can handle it!)
Ok, I devoured this book and I have mixed feelings. I loved Tate, but Lauren had it spot on–the guy can be a total jackhole sometimes. 🙂 Anyway, that said, I will be checking out more from this author. She had me captivated with the dynamic of their relationship, Jonas, not to mention the other personalities in the town. I need more…
So, what’s up next Maryse? Inquiring minds wanna know. 🙂
Got to say that this book was a ‘spot on’ recommendation! I loved all the main characters which is rare and even though it seemed to go on forever it finished way to soon. What a fab read and despite some of his ‘minor’ faults..LOL…Tate is without doubt one of my most favourite alpha male bad boys!!!! Nx
More than half way through and so loving this book! I find myself grinning like an idiot while I read and my husband thinks it’s hilarious. Absolutely love the scene from the hospital when she stands up to that nasty ex-husband of hers. Not finished yet, but this is already one of my favorite authors. Tried to reccomend to a friend and she said “I can’t read romance novels, they make me hate my husband” lol. Her loss! This is great 🙂 Thanks!

Arghhhhh if you say better then Tate, and I kinda wondered if he might be, i want it now.
Girl you gotta get you some Joe Callahan. He’s broken. And the Winter’s Girls make him whole. The ‘Burg series is good. I didn’t really “get into” the first one (For You) because Sweet Dreams was just so much better. And the 3rd, Golden Trail, is better than For You but not as good for me as Sweet Dreams and At Peace.
The Gamble was good… (Max’s story) but no where as hot as Tate or Joe.

Have read all of Kristens books and they are all equally as brilliant. She even has some paranormal ones. Have communicated via email and she is really sweet. Love her. I wanna be in the Rock Chick tribe!

Laycie. I’m gonna plow through her books for the entire week!! Maybe more if I don’t need an “Alpha break” (which, in all honestly, I doubt I will – love the alphas too much).
Joe Callahan is next for me!! I already downloaded him.
I’ll finish Max (poor, him – as amazing as he is, I fear he doesn’t stand a chance). I normally like my book bad-boys with a side of “tortured”, and Max seems too normal (other than his big ol’ bossy side).
