While I did pick up the latest book from Kerrelyn Sparks (The Secret Life of a Vampire), and I am so anxious to read it, I thought I’d change it up abit, so I could be fresh when going back to the Love at Stake Vampires.
So instead, I picked up both the first and second book from Adrian Phoenix:
Book 1: A Rush of Wings: Book One of The Maker’s Song
Book 2: In the Blood
These books seem to be a little more along the lines of the older Anita Blake stories (more of a murder mystery style – a female FBI agent on the trail of a serial killer, who ends up getting involved in the vampire world, due to the recent targets). Looks like this will be a good read, and I will update you shortly 🙂
