8 Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 03-23-2026

HAPPY MONDAY!!! IT’S TIME FOR NEW BOOKS & NEW READING JOURNEYS & I have a bunch that just went live early. The very first one (that one to the left) gave me a HUGE blurb jolt. This is MY thing.

Three things:

1.) I worked ALL weekend on my landscaping. New plants, weeding, mulching, re-arranging, re-potting, chopping things down, evening things out. I am pooped. My muscles hurt, my nails are dirty no matter how much I scrub, and I’m lightly sunburned. BUT BOY do I feel fulfilled!!!

2.) It was an amazing weekend, weather-wise. Mid to upper 70s, huge deals at Home Depot on mulch and soil, and while we had NO intention on doing any landscaping this weekend, we couldn’t pass up the perfect opportunity. It gets hot here FAST in Florida, and there was no way I wanted to work that hard, in the Florida heat. read more

Reader Question – The book where she’s on the run with her brother, gets a job in a bar & falls for the rich owner…

Kristie needs our book help! Ohhhh I LOVE the sound of this one. Totally my catnip. The whole on the run/in hiding/starting over in another place, and the whole bar scene, and then there’s possessive, protective alpha? YES. PLEASE!!!

In fact both books in this series, by her description, sounds right up my alley.

She asks:

Help me find this book series. It’s not showing up on my kindle library. What was that book called…?

Book 1:

  • Older sister flees a dangerous situation
  • She is raising and protecting brother and sister from father i think.
  • She gets a job at a bar (possibly bar + tattoo shop)
  • She falls for the owner, who becomes very protective and he is rich
  • the brother is rebellious and thinks he can take care of them. The mmc ends up i think putting him in a boxing gym.

Final book:

  • Focuses on the brother
  • he is a town legend/great looking
  • He has a guest house on his sisters property with a hot tub.
  • there is a found family aspect with the other characters that they sometimes see him sneaking out of the house
  • He was raised by his sister and her new husband
  • He is a promising athlete (fighter or sports-adjacent)
  • His girlfriend from a previous book died in a car accident and they all loved her
  • He’s been rebelling/self-destructing
  • He finds the FMC waitress at the town bar and she secretly is sleeping there
  • She is homeless
  • He gives her a place to stay → slow-burn → love
  • This is the LAST book in the series
