Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – August 26th 2016

By 87 Comments

It’s reading weekend time, and I have a new review coming up (“Author Anonymous” which will be going live on Amazon in just a few of days!). A scandalous, riveting, tragic train wreck of a love story. Oh yes, my friends. A la “Arsen”, for sure. YIKES. But this one’s a true story, and I’ll tell y’all about it tonight!!! Well sorta. You know. Spoiler-free. 😉

That said, we do have to wait for its release. I know… I know. Us book-adrenaline junkies hate waiting. BUT!! Look at all the ones that just went live, and all of the super-bargains and reader recommendations that we can indulge in right now! In fact, there are a few listed below that are SURE adrenaline-boosters for sure! I JUST KNOW IT! read more

Reader Question – The biker book with the heroine that works at a Hallmark store and only wore “cheeky” panties…

By 4 Comments

It’s Melissa’s turn!!! She’s looking for this particular biker book, and has plenty of detail for us to investigate! The details, in fact, are so fun in this one, and so particular, that it makes me think of a Kristen Ashley type of heroine. 😉 Especially considering that the guys in the MC seem like good guys!

She asks:

I love your blog!  I had a question I was hoping I could get some help with.  I read an MC book several years ago (3-5 probably) through the Kindle Lender Library that used to come with a Prime membership and I can’t remember the name. read more

Reader Question – The book about the hero that’s in medical school and takes an x-ray…

Jenifer (with one “n”!!) needs our help today! And it sounds like it’s a poignant tearjerker!!!

It seems like a lot of detail however, Jenifer mentions that this big information is at the beginning of the book, so I’m not sure if I should include spoiler alerts anyway.

Okay I think I will. 😉 Just in case.

She asks:

“Hi Maryse!

You have been my main source for my reading for a few years now. I was wondering if you could help me find a title to a book I read earlier his year or maybe even last year. The kicker is that I don’t have much to go on. read more

Reader Question – The book about the guy that found her phone in the banana section…

Tee hee!! That title makes me giggle, but I’m sure it will be enough.

Cara wants to finish a book she started but she can’t remember what it’s called, and she needs help finding it. She has a minimal amount of detail, but I think, for someone that has read this book, it’s enough to spark your memory.

She asks:

“I started reading a book and I have completely forgotten what it was called. The only info I can give you is that the male main characters name was Fenton. It started with him finding a girls phone in the banana section of the grocery store. read more

Book #3 was just released in this series, and I absolutely LOVE the premise of book #1. LOL!!!

Jean: Just finishing up Wrong Number Right Guy which was a really cute read!

Lisa:  I’ve read them all. Good series. Nothing over the top. Just entertaining.

About book #1:

When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout. read more
