Following my heart, one book at a time...
<— PAM GODWIN DARK READ ALERT and book #3 will go live in just a few days, and a few of our fellow readers highly recommend it!
Jill: Maryse when you are ready for a dark read again, go for deliver by Pam Godwin. Just finished it and it was awesome!
Siana: I recently read and adored: Deliver by Pam Godwin… dark and deliciously sexy. Deliver has some heart stopping twists and turns…
About book #1:
His name was Joshua Carter. Now it’s whatever she wants it to be.
She is a Deliverer.
DARK READ ALERT!
Fabi: I’m still reading The Lost. I’m highlighting like crazy. It’s been a long time since I felt compelled to highlight a book, but this author, aahhh this author… It actually too me a while to get into this book. There’s quite a bit of world building even though it’s not fantasy. I think it was near 30% before I started really connecting with the heroine. And it was after the 50% mark when it became so gripping I couldn’t put it down. It’s a pretty long novel, so at 70% I still have a ways to go and I’m totally invested now.
<— NEW SERIES by Evangeline Anderson and it’s already three books deep!!!
About book #1:
My name is Zoe McKinley. I have a boring life, an awful job, and a boss that throws staplers at my head. What could be worse?
How about being abducted by Aliens?
Being dragged through a mirror, naked and screaming, onto an extraterrestrial ship was bad. Finding out I had been sold to a huge alien male who looks like the Devil was worse. But learning he wanted to trade me to an intergalactic petting zoo was the worst of all!
<— Author Anonymous: A True Story JUST WENT LIVE ALERT!!!!
A scandalous, riveting, tragic train wreck of a love story. It’s interesting, very personal and raw and well written… but it’s a freaking train wreck. Right to the very end. Oh yes, my friends. A la “Arsen”, for sure.
Before I knew what was even happening, I was making choices I didn’t even know were choices, and I couldn’t take them back.
But this one’s a true story.
Yep. Yet another uncomfortably scandalous read that just… *scratches head* well… had my jaw dropping. Many times. You know what they say. You can’t look away.
<— M/M SPORTS STAR DARK ROMANCE SERIES ALERT!! He’s the runaway son of a crime lord, and he’s becoming a huge sports star! *gasp*!! And it’s Jennifer that brought it to my attention with this RAVE review!!
Jennifer: Maryse I wanted to share with you a trilogy that blew me away. The All for the Game trilogy that starts with Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic. I didn’t know what to make of the first book, it was a bit of a mess establishing characters and a bit of their backgrounds. It was like a very dark NA bad-news Bears type sports story with no romance.
