HAPPY NOVEMBER!!! I hope everyone’s Halloween was fun and fruitful (or candy-full) 😉 We had quite a few dinosaurs in our neighborhood yesterday (including one of our own). LOL! The little kids wanted to pose with them so bad. It was adorable. Some great costumes and lots of happy faces. I’m, not used to it, because where I lived before moving here was a beautiful community, but it was more of a retirement community and we never got any tick-or-treaters. Last night (in my new sweet neighborhood) it was non stop for a good 2-3 hours!

Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 10-31-2022
HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEEEN!!!!! 🎃 👻 🎃 🧛♂️ It’s time for another fun list of early bird book releases, and I’m hoping we’ll have some fun scary or cozy halloween mysteries in our midst. Maybe a few sexy paranormals too? Let’s see what we’ve got!! But first…
THREE THINGS:
1.) I watched season 7 of American Horror Story (“Cult”) last week while I was sick, and holy moly that show was crazy. Every single episode, and sometimes so violent and so in your face about it that I had to look away, and questioned my own sanity for watching (as much as I love horror, I’m not into torture flicks, and this had quite a bit of that). Ugh. Still… amazingly crazy story. P.S. The scariest clown I have EVER seen, is in this one. *shudders*
Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 10-28-2022
HAPPY FRIDAY & HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!! 🎃 👻 🎃 imagine there will be a ton of Halloween parties this weekend. What are your plans? Have you decorated?
My neighborhood is looking so cool right now. I have a giant Elvis zombie next door to me, and on the other side, a HUMONGOUS werewolf. LOL!! We’re having a block party, but I’m still a bit sick, so I will be staying in. *hrmph* I guess I’ll just have to live vicariously through all of you. 😉

Reader Question… Solved! The book where her name is Darcy, she’s a detective, and she’s in love with her demon boss…
Carol needs our book help! Oh I did fall for quite a few “demon” heroes in my paranormal romance days, so I’m dying to know this. I’m going to assume she’s human? I love human heroines with paranormal heroes the most!
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
I am trying to remember the name of the book series a (sorry can’t remember the name of the Author or a title) that the main female character’s name (I’m pretty sure of this part) is Darcy (might be Darcie).
She is a Detective and her new boss, who she eventually falls in love with is from the alternate world and i think he is a demon.
