Facing Us: A Contemporary Dark Romance (The District Book 1) IS LIVE, and it’s also in Kindle Unlimited. 😀 It’s a part of a series but CAN be read as a standalone!!! *claps*

AND!!! The author (Nicci Harris) is this week’s newsletter sponsor and she’s giving us a sneak peek into the book (and her writing process)!! In fact, she says it has secrets we won’t see coming. GASP!!! YES PLEASE!! That’s my favorite. 😀

P.S. She says:

Finally, another disclaimer: this is the tamest of the series. They only get more intense from here. read more

<— Happy Monday everyone and LOOK WHAT’S LIVE!!!!! 😀 It’s the start of a new week AND it’s officially fall!!! I’m starting to feel it in the air here (well… to an extent). Afternoon sun is still pretty hot, but I’m loving the cool down parts. And to start the new season off, we have a list of new releases with a  bunch that I highlighted.

But first…

THREE THINGS:

1.) I found a ton of various (yet similar) frames at Walmart (all Home & Garden frames) on clearance!!! They look so good, and I spent yesterday morning printing out photos and placing them on my shelves. SO fun!! read more

The Emily Bleeker Collection

This author came to my attention when her book “Wreckage” kept popping up as a suggestion for “stranded/castaway” favorite list (and I LOVE that trope).

While each book in this “series” can be read as a standalone, they all appear to be emotional-dramas and I LOVE those too!

JulieO: Just saw WRECKAGE and remembered how good it was. Think a re-read is in order.

About book #1:

Ellie Brown thought she’d finally escaped her stifling hometown of Broadlands, Illinois; med school was supposed to be her ticket out. But when her father has a stroke, she must return home to share his care with her older sister, Amelia, who’s busy with her own family. Working as a paramedic, Ellie’s days are monotonous, driving an ambulance through streets she’d hoped never to see again. read more

Jennifer Estep – Crown of Shards Series Reading Order

By 5 Comments

OUR FELLOW HARDCORE FANTASY ROMANCE LOVERS are so into this series!!

Michele G: So, for my fantasy lovers out there, I just finished Kill the Queen by Jennifer Estep. It was soooo good! It’s the first in a new series by her and has a really strong cast of characters. I listened to the audiobook and it was outstanding!

Tessa: Jennifer Estep’s Crown of Shards series? I’m want to say it’s her best series so far, but I’ve only read book one. … so goooooood! …The action is fast-paced. The only slow was waiting for the massacre to start. lol But, all the talk and such beforehand actually matters later, even the minor stuff. I love that nothing was actually wasted. read more
