Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 04-05-19

By 50 Comments

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! :D!! It’s time for another reading weekend, and I have a fun list of reader recommendations, and a few that just went live too!

<— P.S. This one’s been getting tons of love and I just received even more recommendations for it (and Jewel E. Ann is one of my FAVORITES). UPDATE!! Not sure what happened to the ebook in the last day, but only print book is available right now??

P.P.S. Also don’t forget:

The “Amazon First Reads” choices are up for April!! I chose “The Overdue Life of Amy Byler”. 😀 I mean… there are books on the book cover so, ya know. 😉 MINE!! I already like the heroine’s style. *snort* read more

Good Mr. King is live, and we have a “fun facts” and a guest post by the author to celebrate!!

Good Mr. King <— JUST WENT LIVE, it’s super-bargain priced & ohhhhhhhh my… doesn’t he look tempting. 😉 Total blurb jolt, too!!! One of his employees is crushing on him and just sent him a ton of dirty stories that she wrote about him… but there’s a twist… 😛 Tee hee!!!

No one dominates me. Not the supermodels I’ve slept with, not the rich women whose necks I’ve dressed in diamonds.

So imagine my surprise when I get a drunken e-mail from an employee I’ve never met, containing not one, but dozens of erotic stories all starring yours truly. And in every one of them I’m a submissive. read more

Reader Question – The book about the father that kidnaps a young girl…

By 5 Comments

Alicia is looking for this one and it sounds pretty crazy. She only read the summary so I don’t *think* this is spoiler-y, but proceed with caution. 😉

She asks:

Been reading your blog for a while now and it has helped me find some awesome books to read.

Not sure if this is were I ask but I need help finding a book I’ve been looking for.

About a boy whose father kidnaps a young girl I’m assuming she escapes because later in the book the boy ends up kidnapping her.

I only read the summary and that is all I can remember. read more

Reader Question – The book about the woman who escapes her abusive husband, covered in blood…

Nicole is looking for this book! And YESSS I LOVED THIS ONE SO MUCH!!! In fact, Nicole figured out what book it was, and answered her very own question, but I thought I’d post it in case someone here wants to read it. It is FANTASTIC!

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I’m still trying to find that book! It’s really bothering me because I’m dying to know what happens.

It’s about a woman who drives away from her abusive husband(?) with her friend(?). She’s covered in blood. They stop at a bar in the middle of nowhere and eventually start working there. read more

Reader Question – The book about the mercenary that lived in a treehouse…

By Leave a Comment

Heather is looking for this one!! Ohhhhh I LOVE treehouses!!! HOW COOL would that be??

She asks:

I know you must get hundreds of messages a day but I’m desperate! I am trying to find a book that I read a long time ago.

I remember that the man was a mercenary I believe that lived up in a lavish treehouse if you will. The heroine was kept there by him. She may have been captured after being at excavation site that was sacred ground.

Any thoughts?

Anyone know it?
