<— ONE NIGHT IN MONACO – PRINCE MAXENCE’S FIRST BOOK (PREQUEL) in his very own series is live!
Prince Maxence is tall, hot, ripped, and loaded.
Why would a man like that disappear?
He must be hiding something.
Maxence is missing. Can Casimir & Arthur find him before the killers do? All your favs reunite in this thriller!
And we have personal recommendations from her series past (for the other series, but I just found out they do intertwine with Max!!):
Nancyc: Blair Babylon’s books are amazing! The Billionaires in Disguise and Rockstars in Disguise are both fantastic series. Rae and Wulf’s story will pull you in and keep you coming back for more!
Serena: Any of them are super terrific, but RAE and WULFS Story are my favorites! ! Billionare”s in Disquise is the 1st….sexy and adventurous , couldn’t possibly go wrong !!!!
Sue: Blair Babylon’s series of books Billionaires in Disguise and Rock Stars in Disguise are brilliant. Intricate, intertwining storylines and plenty of steamy sex scenes.
Chris: I highly recommend her Billionaire in Disguise Xan and Georgie series. A mixed up band with some really big surprises.
And I found this AWESOME blog post by the author all about Maxence and his new series (this is the first book, or is it the prequel?), and I found out how some of her series and the characters cross over (from her Flicka (Runaway Princess series) to her Runaway Billionaires, to rock star Xan Valentine and his series, and how they intersect with Maxence! P.S. Xan is Max’s cousin. 😉 ) And also… about her writing process. I love when an author lets us in like that! 😀
Simone was everything that Maxence found irresistibly attractive in a woman: curvy, beautiful, and in trouble. But had she led him into a trap?
Here are a couple of snippets from her post:
I have some scenes of Max’s books written because his story is so compelling. He keeps talking in my head. I also just had the covers done. (Total tease below.) I want to write Max. I’m dying to write Max. I know the overall structure. I’ve got some pivotal scenes. I’ve got half of the first book written in my head.
There will probably be a prequel novella, and then 3 books.
…The first 2 books take place before the Flicka books end, and it’s a while before he knows that his circumstances have changed. I’ve got some serious research to do.
And I need to reread Casimir’s and Arthur’s books. Yes, they will definitely be in there. As a matter of fact, they’ll be in the prequel novella. And so might some other people…
What’s it about?
One night in Monaco, my best friend, Maxence, disappeared.
I have no idea what Maxence was doing in Monaco that night. Yeah, he loves the Monte Carlo casino—the venue of British spy movies, billionaires, Russian mafia, and roulette. But too many people in Monaco think he might be a danger to them.
He never should have been there. But he was.
So was Simone. She’s trouble from our past at boarding school. Her husband is a good friend of some of the people who would be happier if Maxence wasn’t around anymore.
They tell me Maxence was here in the casino, and then a few minutes later, he was gone. Like he dropped off the face of the Earth. Or like he was dropped off a cliff and into the blue Mediterranean Sea, which was just a few feet from where he was standing.
Arthur and I are here to find Maxence, no matter what it takes. But we might end up finding his body.
One night in the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, in a small suite because this trip had been a sudden decision due to work concerns, a mobile phone buzzed on the dresser beside a sumptuous bed.
Arthur Finch-Hatten thumbed the phone’s screen and brought it to his face, but he didn’t say anything. His chin stubble grated on the glass front.
A man’s voice asked, “Hello? Lord Finch-Hatten? Maxence Grimaldi is missing.”
Arthur rolled over and stared at the ceiling.
Beside him, his wife, Gen, stirred but didn’t wake up. He was always whispering into his phone in the middle of the night. She didn’t bother to wake up anymore, especially now that she was carrying their child and needed sleep.
Arthur said quietly, “Max always goes missing. You tossers lose him twice a week in those rural outbacks he inhabits.”
The unidentified voice said, “He went missing in Monaco. He was in the middle of the casino, and then we lost him. It’s been four hours.”
“On my way.”
