<— INEVITABLE IS LIVE & TOUTED AS A MODERN-DAY ROMEO & JULIETTE (though… don’t automatically expect the same ending). 😉 I love forbidden love stories!!! P.S. This one’s in Kindle Unlimited!!!
Kristen Granata is today’s newsletter sponsor and she’s celebrating her latest FORBIDDEN LOVE ROMANCE and giving away a print copy! 😀
She says:
…my most recent release is Inevitable, a Romeo & Juliet feuding families type of new adult romance. I love writing new adult because there is SO much growth after you graduate high school and go out into the real world. So many life lessons to be learned, so many struggles that we all face. And that’s what I live to write about – how we overcome our problems and come out stronger on the other side.
here’s why you should read this story…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🖤 It has a modern-day Romeo & Juliet feuding families vibe with a MUCH better ending
❤️ It’s packed with emotion, angst & steam
🖤 The heroine is a tattooed, combat boot-wearing badass who rides a motorcycle
❤️ The hero is a seriously drool-worthy giant body guard who will swoon the panties right off of you …Ladies, get ready to meet Graham 🤤
🖤 As always, I added my signature snark & humor to the mix – along with a mental health theme
What’s it about?
The job was clear: Get in, get what I need, and get out. It should’ve been easy. It could’ve been effortless. I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with the enemy’s daughter.
Long raven hair and dark mischievous eyes drew me in. Her feisty attitude and caring heart kept me there. Her pain called out to mine and our souls entwined. Now I’m in so deep, I don’t know which way is up. If my father finds out, we’ll be next on his list.
I’ll do anything in my power to protect her, but how can I keep her safe when I’m the one I need to keep her safe from? Eva doesn’t know it yet, but she’s playing the part of Juliet in this twisted tragedy.
And our final act is inevitable.
P.S. I found this incredible tidbit about Kristen Granata’s writing process and what inspires her, and I felt the need to include it here. I love knowing about what makes them… and their stories tick!! She says:
People often ask me how I come up with my stories. I don’t plan things out, and I don’t have an outline. The characters stem from ideas in my brain. Whether I hear a song and it sparks a scene, or I’m out somewhere and something funny happens to make me think, “This should be in a book,” or even if I drive by a broken-down RV and wonder what the story is behind it … different ideas are always floating around in my head. Then I sit down and write it out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think when you’re a writer, you view the world in a totally different way than most people. I’m freakishly observant, my brain is constantly going, and I daydream a lot. I always have. When I was a kid, I used to make my stuffed animals talk to each other and act out the stories I’d come up with (until my dad came in & asked me who I was talking to, and then I got embarrassed & shut it down real quick 😂) To me, writing isn’t something I do. It’s something that takes hold of me until I feel compelled to write it all down.

Not quite Star-crossed lovers, but two people that probably shouldn’t have fallen for each other: Dirty Angels by Karina Halle. Also, I just love everything she writes. Lol. Would love a chance to read this book!
Thanks so much for the chance!
Omgosh I just made the cut off! Only a day left! Eeeek. I don’t read many star crossed lover books that stand up to my all time which I hate to say it because it’s cheesy, but Romeo and Juliet.
This sounds like it will have all the feels! I’ll be reading it next.
