Hello Maryse!
I have just recently come across your Book Blog and have immediately fell in love. I have found many books per your suggestions that have now become some of my favorites. I would love to return the favor…
One of my favorite book series is the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. I looked through your blog to see if you had any reviews for it and I didn’t notice any…. If you have already read this series then just know that I find them amazing.
The stories follow a hysterical female heroin who is a private detective who can see dead people! WHAT?! I know, right?! Pretty interesting. She is possibly one of the best female leads I have read in a long time.
These books offer everything you can ask for; fantasy, humor, action, gore, and of course a SMOKING hot male lead. And I mean smoking hot!! I don’t think I have ever been so in love with a male character from a book. I literally get giddy with excitement whenever he shows up in the story line. This is probably a serious issue that I should seek counseling about, but I’m happily living in denial.
This is a series you do not want to miss! It is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming.
…The first book is called “First Grave on the Right” by Darynda Jones.
Enjoy 🙂
Arianna!!!
I MUST read this series. I only hear awesome things about it, and I bet it’ll take me right back rot the days when I was so in love with paranormal and urban fantasy series.
Thank you for reminding me!!
*hug*
Maryse
