It’s Mony’s turn for a Best Of List!!! She’s started hanging out with us (secretly 😉 ) as of this year – actually maybe even as of this month, but she participates by sending her recommendations to me by email. I’m thrilled to have her with us, and can’t wait to see what other must-reads she comes across. Welcome Mony!!!
Thought I’d send you a list of my favourite books for 2019.
I’m off to Rome tomorrow for part of winter and so don’t know if I’ll get caught up in other things. However, I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog!
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year. 2020, yikes!
Mony’s Best Books of 2019
Devastated (Anger Management Book 1) by R.L. Mathewson
Great slow burn boss-employee read – vibes like The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. GR 4.25
If you loved THE WALL OF WINNIPEG AND ME, this is your book! Slow burn, enemies-to-lover – gets better & better as it goes. Amazing & unique book boyfriend. Fantastic read!
Well-written witty boss-employee romance. Great characters. GR 4.1
The Fixer (Professionals Book 1) by Jessica Gadziala
Quirky hot guys security team, wow! hero (Lee Nightingale!), heroine strengthened by the team, ”safe room” antics, unique crime plots. GR 4.24
Fabulous read if you like Rock Chicks (RC). Reads like a Kristen Ashley novel… A great find for those who love RCs and want more. (yea!)
Enemies by Tijan
Slow burn enemies to lovers – great characters. Hero is swoon worthy. Great college romance. Will love this one if you liked Elle Kennedy. GR 4.3
Wow! A top college setting read with sports theme. Same vibe and quality as The Deal…but with an enemies to lover theme. Outstanding!
The Banker by Penelope Sky
Fantastic and gripping story. First of a trilogy. GR 4.4 Strong character, angsty and edgy. enemies-to-lovers
Can’t Fix Cupid by Raven Kennedy
One of the funniest romances in 2019! Quirky paranormal, great banter, slow burn, enemies-to lover story. A sexy guy and hilarious heroine. GR 4.56
Funniest romantic comedy books
The ones that have made me laugh out loud the most are:
- That Guy by Kim Jones,
- Can’t Fix Cupid by Raven Kennedy (2019), and
- Worth It by S.M. Shade (2017).
- Honorable mention for Wilder (The Wild Ones Book 3) by C.M. Owens (2018).
“RAH for indie books!!!”
