YAY Randi!! This is a first by her, but she’s been with us since 2013!!!!!! While she’s active in our comments (especially lately – she helps me out a ton when she lets me know what I’ve missed in the latest releases, and has great recommendations and book feedback for us), this is her very first “Best Of” list with us.
Randi’s favorites list is short but definitely sweet, and I’m thankful for all of the favorite stories we get to experience each year!
P.S. Whether you have 3, 5, 10, 25 books that you loved, we want to know which ones (selfishly, ’cause then we get to look ’em up and devour ’em too). 😉
But first… some fun comments of 2022’s past:
When she loved a pic of my adorable giant dog:
Randi: Havoc is soooooo.cute!!!!!! That face ❤️❤️❤️❤️
When a hurricane was coming my way…
Randi: Maryse, here’s hoping it isn’t as bad as they are predicting and doesn’t cause ton’s of damage. Be safe!!
When R.Renee told me to try this, Randi agreed!!
Randi: Maryse you will love streaks in the air fryer!!!! It’s the only way I make them now as they turn out perfect every time and I can’t screw them up like on the grill🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now… here is Randi’s best of 2022 list!
Didn’t have as much time this year to read as I did in previous years (new job☹️), so the list is short for me.
Let’s hope 2023 gives us more great reads & Happy New Year everyone!!
The Other Half of the Grave – Jeaniene Frost.
Randi: Waited forever for her to write this book!!!! Bone’s POV from Half Way to the Grave and it delivered!!
Maryse: This was one of my very first series when I went crazy for paranormal, and it delivered!! LOVED Bones!
Angie: I can’t wait to read Bones’ point of view. It’s been so many years since I read the first book of this series. I think I might have to reread it before starting this book.
Of Mist and Shadow & Of Ash and Ember by Jenna Wolfhart.
Randi: …found this author from this blog. Great series/writing if you are into fantasy genre.
Maryse: Ahhhhh yessss! I featured this one on a new release roundup post! It sounded awesome!!
Gracie and the Grump by Mariana Zapata <— side note from Maryse: This one’s made quite a few “Best of” lists, this year!
Randi: made my list too. Definitely not the norm from this author.
Honorable Mention goes to House on Everly Lane by Layne Deemer.
Maryse: The House on Everly Lane sounds unbelievable and incredible and I’m DYING to read this!!!
Linda: The House on Everly Lane by Layne Deemer was so outstanding! Couldn’t read the words fast enough!
