It’s time for Steph N’s list and OMG I LOVE IT!! So many books on here that I’ve never heard of but that sound SOOOO good, plus a few of her favorites, I read and loved and 5-starred, too!!! I’m starting to thing I might have a book quadruplet. š
Now, first, let’s start with some fun 2021 Steph N comment highlights!
R.Renee wasnāt it you that I share a love of LP with? …I have tickets (meet and greet with LP) and Harry a week apart in early Oct. I hope they both happen, they were both reschedules from 2020 of course.
I still have not read Kulti. I has been on the TBR forever!!
5 Years, Float Plan, Lifeās Too Short, People we meet, are all 5 stars for me too. I got into a book slump this year but these were all stand outs. Abby Jimenez has another book coming out in the spring and I cannot wait!
I read The Kind Worth Killing in the last week or so (finally), 4.5 stars.
And now… Steph N’s absolute favorites for 2021!
Hi Maryse!
I haven’t commented a lot but I check in weekly for book updates! Thought I’d still send in my end of year list, it has become a bit of a tradition for me! š
I love reading them and adding to the never ending TBR.
First 5 star went to:
The Last Flight by Julie Clark
This kept me intrigued and the ending shook me. I still think about it and I’m one of those that forgets books I have read easily.
How to Fail at Flirting by Denise Williams
I enjoyed this book a lot by a new to me author (or new in general, not sure) Reviews seems to be mixed but I really loved it.
I thought this was a new release but turns out it was older. Never mind that, it was a sweeping drama about a family that was so detailed in description it was fabulous.
A well written story that made me smile and cry
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
Addie LaRue was a 5 star
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
I read these two book blockbusters back to back. They were all I was seeing on social media at the time and I fell into the peer pressure, lol. Addie LaRue was a 5 star and Library was a 4. Both are books I typically would not have picked up but glad I did!
This BOOK!! Edward is the sole survivor of a plane crash and this book follows the after effects of that.
Just Last Night by Mhairi McFarlane
Lifes Too Short by Abby Jimenez
If either of these authors write a book, I be clicking.
Lifeās Too Short by Abby Jimenez which I gave 5 stars to, just like her previous books. Her books are ~chefs kiss~ to me.
A creepy page turner
This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens
This book was a very entertaining read, a sweet and fun romantic comedy.
In Five years by Rebecca Serle
I think this might be my top read of the year. The friendship in it was so touching and it was centered in NYC which I had the pleasure to visit twice this year.
Thanks for sharing, I hope everyone finds something to add to their TBR. I look forward to reading more!
If anyone is looking for STEAMY, I loved the Nikki Sloan series Nashville Neighborhood and for a feel good series, I read the Bromance BookClub series this year and they are all super cute!
Happy Reading!
Steph N
