This was starting out as a reader question, but I had such amazing feedback on it, that I decided to turn it into a “reader favorites” post.
It all started when Laycie was desperate for a good book. She asked (on my Facebook page):
Laycie: “Right, I have not read a book in too long. I had another baby and couldnβt find the time, then I just couldnβt find the right book. So hit me up with your favourite reads of 2017-2018. I need something amazing!”
I gave her the list of our “Best of 2017” choices, but the Facebook crew also delivered!
Megan: The final book in the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost is second on my list to the newest release of the Fever Series by Karen Moning next month. (Obviously havenβt read it yet but letβs be honest, it will be amazing)
Val: I recently read the Grip series by Kennedy Ryan. I want to shout from the roof for everyone to read these. The love, the emotions, the social issues she tackles, she does it all absolutely brilliantly. Hands down one of my all time top series. Seriously. Everyone. Read these!
Tara:Β This was my top 2017 read as well!

Really I could go on and on and on…. (but Iβll stop for now).
Born Darkly and Born Madly by Tisha Wolfe! This duet is everything! It’s a dark romantic psychological thriller with a forbidden twist and unlike anything I’ve ever read. I can’t stop thinking about these books and these characters…definitely in my top books ever list!
The Great Alone by Kristen Hannah. I loved the Nightingale so I jumped on this one, I was not disappointed. A family homesteading in Alaska, the family relationships, young love and tragedy. It will stay with me for a long time.
Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine.
Just finished this and was so good and made me laugh out loud at times. Wasnβt what I was expecting at all and I would urge people to give it a read x
