HEROES WHO ARE STILL VIRGINS REQUEST!! <— Oh I LOVE this reader request!! In fact one of my very favorite books ever (that one to the left), featured EXACTLY what Jaime is looking for.
And already, I’m getting so many awesome reader recommendations. I was going to wait a few days to put this up, but no time like the present. We are on FIRE for these heroes!!!
Jaime: I may have missed this list but do you have a list where the HERO is a virgin? New interest (after reading Archers Voice and Lass) so i haven’t read many!Β Thanks,
Mohau: Iβd love to see a virgin heroes genre
J.B. Salsbury: Yeeeeess! And I adore this trope too! I cannot WAIT for the list to come out!Β
Pam Godwin: virgin heroes! Gawwwwd, I love this trope soooo hard!
READER RECOMMENDATIONS:
Maryse: My personal recommendation is Christina Lee’s “All Of You” (and here’s my 4.5 star review).
Michelle: I loved this one. Read it like 5 times over the years
Noelle: This book was sooo good! Bennett is one of my favorite heroes. Itβs really hard finding contemporary romance books with virgin heroes so I was so excited when I was reading this.
Maryse: Oh!! And of course, Edward in Twilight. How could I possibly forget THAT???!!! And I did, until I saw a comment by Leslie M about him as one of her favorite heroes. π
Leslie M: a virgin (Edward).
Maryse: Keep (Seaside Pictures Book 2)Β byΒ Rachel Van Dyken. Heβs a rock star, and a virgin (and nobody knows!!!)
J.B. Salsbury: Oh, I have two books where the heroes are virgins!
McKenzie: I love this series and reread them frequentlyΒ
JB Salsbury you also forgot Fighting for Flight π€
J.B. Salsbury: Correct me if I’m wrong,Β Pam Godwin, but if memory serves your hero in Deliver also a virgin, yes? Oh, and bonus! This book is FREE right now!
Kimberly: One book that also took me out of my comfort zone yet was curiously arousing in the same way was Deliver by Pam Godwin.
Siana: …amaaazing books you should add to your TBR list that my friends & I recently read and adored: Deliver by Pam Godwin …dark and deliciously sexy. Deliver has some heart stopping twists and turns…
Pam Godwin:Β Yes, JB Salsbury! We both have virgin heroes! Gawwwwd, I love this trope soooo hard!Β I have two books with virgin heroes and both are free:
J.B. Salsbury: Yeeeeess! And I adore this trope too! I cannot WAIT for the list to come out!Β
J.B. Salsbury: Beard in Mind
J.B. Salsbury: Oh oh oh!! And I think the hero, Kai, The Bride Test is also a virgin, he’s also on the spectrum. Such a great book.
Maryse: THANK YOU!!!!Β
Β I’m going to LOVE this list!
J.B. Salsbury: I always shop your lists so I’m a giddy little reader over here to be able to contribute. Your lists have pulled me out of some serious reading slumps!
Maryse: That makes me so happy to know!!!Β
Β
HAPPY DANCE!!!!!
Jenn: Keepsake and The Shameless Hour: A Sports Romance (The Ivy Years Book 4)Β both by Sarina Bowen!
DG: …my fav was Keepsake by Sarina Bowen!!!! Floved it! Really liked her writing style and the plot was different than what I usually read. Loved the quiet and humble βcavemanβ and the strong but broken girlβ¦just floved it!
Danielle:Β
- Transcendence by Shay Savage
- The third book in the True North series by Sarina Bowen (sorry canβt remember the name of it off the top of my head) (Note from Maryse: Keepsake)
Archers Voice by Mia Sheridan
Maryse: YESSSSS how could I have forgot Transcendence??? AWESOME BOOK! And so was Archer’s Voice!!!! Here are my reviews for both:
Nikki Ash: I have a few…
- Fighting For a Second Chance,
- Tapping Out,
On the Surface,
- Unbroken Promises,
- Torn Apart/Bound Together, and
- Hidden Truths/Stolen Lies
Ashley: The First Score byΒ Amie Knight. Heβs a football player and sheβs his sisters best friend. Sooooo good!
Nikki Ash: At Any Price by Brenna Aubrey! So good!
Vikki: Unloved by Kate Regenery
Nancy: UNLOVED by Katy RegneryΒ I think this was the earliest I started crying in a book. In my humble opinion the best book the lady has ever written.
Linda: Unloved by Katy Regnery. Loved it so hard!!! Book slump? Just read Nancyβs top recommendation Unloved!!! Amazing!! Thank you Nancy.
Zee: I published one recently. It’s available in KU. ππAge-gap. Illicit. Younger man & Older woman. Shameless (FORBIDDEN Book 4)Β
bev: The Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett …that was a good YA. Some mainstream YA does have sex, but itβs not explicit. I like the way it was… Her mom saw she was serious and as a nurse provided protection. That scene made me laugh. She was not a virgin and he was. She was not shamed for it.Β It was a good book. Someone needs to read it.
…I just loved her writing in that book. I felt like I could βsee itβ. I really liked how she described people and places. Not over done but I felt like I was there and could see.Β …does have a sex scene, but fade to black…
Jacob Chance: Tempt by Remy Blake (Marley Valentine and I write it under that pen) and Score by me.
Kelley: Serpent and the Dove by Shelby Mahurin.
Jan: This trope pops up in historical romances too. e.g. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The scene when Jamie loses his virginity is sweet and funny. Another popular one is No Manβs Mistress by Mary Balogh.
Sue: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Marion: Outlander
Elle:Β Jamie Fraser, from the Outlander series (of books) : fierce, passionate and yet respectful
Leslie M: OH MY GOD!!! *smacks self on forehead* I canβt believe I forgot about the worldβs sexiest virgin EVER!!! James Alexander Malcom Mackenzie Fraser aka Jamie from Outlander. DUH!!!!
Maryse: YES PERFECT!!! π
Amber: Sacked by Jen Frederick (Gridiron #1)
Lauren: I just read a FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC book by Jen Frederick called Sacked:A Novel (A Gridiron Novel Book 1). Itβs like Elle Kennedyβs & Kristen Callahanβs booksβ¦.in fact, she thanks both authors in the acknowledgments portion of the book. I loved it! You HAVE to read it!
Cristina: I jumped to Sacked by Jen Frederick and yet another really great read! Β …a beautiful love story. Had me laughing out loud a few times too! I believe someone else on here had recommended that a short time ago? Thanks! π
Shelly B: I loved Sacked by Jen Frederick, too.
Paula: Not sure if it’s mentioned – Lj Shen’s Broken Knight
Tessa: Finished Broken Knight. MY HEART! I was sobbing through so much of it. No joke. Just, it was so sad and I just couldnβt stop crying. I finished it at 1am last night. It was sincerely great, but my heart HURT!!!
Mary Ann: I recommend Broken Knight by LJ Shen. There is the feel of unrequited love, the hero is a major jerk, heroine has SaaS and angsty.
Mona: Broken Knight by LJ Shen, it was angsty, but I didnβt require tissues, and a great read!
Alissa: Poet byΒ Author A M Johnson
Dannika Dark: The Vow, by dannika darkΒ
Kendall Ryan: Down and Dirty (Hot Jocks Book 5) by Kendall Ryan and Make Me Yours (Unravel Me Series Book 2) by Kendall Ryan
Tess: I just finished Make Me Yours by Kendall Ryan, OMG Maryse, Cohen blew my mind!!!!! I fell in love. Hot, sweet, alpha & a virginβ¦. He had me SWOOOONING!!! Seriouslyβ¦β¦
Jennifer: Make Me Yours Β …made me ccccrrrrryyyyy!!!!!!!
Meagan: The Only Exception byΒ Magan Vernon! LOVED it!
Tessa: The Only Exception by Magan Vernon. First in a series, but it sounded to fun to resist.
Jennifer: Blue Moon (The Runaways Book 3) by Jill Marie LandisΒ Β …100% worth the investment.Β Virgin hermit. Heroine that was a mistress against her will
Brie Paisley: I have one that might interest youΒ Β Caleb (The Harlow Brothers Book 3) by Brie Paisley
Nitzan: Always Only You (Bergman Brothers Book 2) by Chloe Liese and Orion (A Constellations Novel) by Raeah Wilding
Grey: I read Dissent by Jessica Gadziala, I really enjoyed it. Quick read. About a female metal singer and a guy that was a virgin until the age of 25 raised with some religious ideals⦠some smoking hot smut. A stalker plot⦠it kept me interested.
Linda: I think Iβm going to The Game Plan (Game On Series Book 3) by Kristen Callihan. Possibly a big smexy virgin footballer???!!!!* Why yes please*
Lisa: The Game Plan is third in Kristen Callihanβs series and I recently read it and loved it.
Theresa: Can the Game Plan be read without reading the previous 2 books in series?
Amber: I read Game Plan and did not read the previous ones. I was good with that. It was a great weekend read with not much angst but the dialogue between the H and h was pretty entertaining. And quite sexy. I really liked it!!
Lisa M: Loving The Game Plan!! Half way through!! Such a feel good love story!! Sometimes you just need one of those!! Loving the whole series!! Highly recommend it!!! Makes me laugh n almost cry n of course swoon!!!
Jean: Cale, Walk of Shame Series #3 …β¦..yep strippers! And heβs a virgin stripper! They are short, easy reads, with really hot, hot sex!
Jean: I loved FreefallΒ with that hot tattooed virgin!!!
Heather: I finished Freefall yesterday. I thought the story was pretty good, but the ending was a bit rushed. Iβd still recommend itβ¦if you like tattooed boys and angst!
Kate: I finished Freefall last night. Good plot, sexy tattoo artist, intriguing mystery girl. Really liked the side characters. You can tell books will be coming out about his friends. Kind of a rushed ending but I liked it.
Deea: …The virgin/good guy and outgoing/bad girl who is bummed βheβs not going for itβ reminds me of A Midsummerβs Nightmare by Kody Keplinger. π (great read, but I think that one was YA).
Karla: …nobody can really beat giving me TMI syndrome than Gena Showalterβ¦ Have you all read her Dark Taste of Rapture? Maaaaaan, it is hard to believe that Hectorβs a virginβ¦ :p
Krisha: If I were to choose my favorite book of all time, that would be one of Gena Showalterβs Alien Huntress series, Dark Taste of Rapture. Okay. That was probably one of the hardest decisions of my life. ALL of the books in this series are amaaaazing. It makes you forget everything. lol. Pinky swear π

Becoming Calder by Mia Sheridan
The Game Plan by Kristen Callihan – hockey player
Savaged by Mia Sheridan
hmm, looks like a favourite trope for Ms. Sheridan…
I’m not sure but I think Angry God by Shen as well.
Last week list (autistic heroes) has two amazing virgin heroes:
Puddle Jumping (Puddle Jumping, #1) by Amber L. Johnson
Win Some, Lose Some by Shay Savage
I think it’s Dr. Strange Beard that has a virgin hero. Beard in Mind is the one with the h that is a mechanic and has OCD.
Jock Road by Sara Ney!
Breathe by Kristen Ashley is a great virgin trope.
