YAY US!!! My sister has discovered the wonderful world of OUR favorite romance reads, and she is HOOKED! She is reading her way through this series and fell head-over-heels in love (this one is sci-fi) and now she’s reading J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series (and you can bet I’m *squeeing* every time she tells me something that she’s loving). She’s still on Wrath…

But I digress. My sister is DEVOTED to the Kindred. In love. She has some favorites, but the way she talks about them (she’s like us… she can’t stop telling me about each book, and relating real life moments to certain scenes in this series… LOL!!!!) and yep… I’m pretty sure she’d marry any one of ’em.

So here is HER review:

It was my first time reading anything from Evangeline Anderson, but oh God not my last. My sister Maryse had told me that her books were enjoyed by many of her book blog readers and, since I love science fiction, I thought I should give it a try. Was I in for a treat and a BIG surprise! The book starts so simply that I did not get where the science fiction part of it was and then, BAM, I’m deep in it and deep in erotic scenes as well!

Imagine being taken away from your twin sister and your best friend to embark on a space ship full of aliens. Olivia freaked out and promised that she would do everything to come back as soon as possible… and then, as the days went, she realized what her life could be with that incredible Beast Kindred, Baird. She learned more and more about the Kindred and saw that some of the rumours on Earth were true while others… and then she’s stuck between her own desires and the promise she made.

Would I’ve been able to resist Baird? Naaaaa… I believe I fell in love with the man even before Olivia did. And what a man!!!! Sooo hot! This book had everything to get me hooked right from the start. Credible characters, intense feelings, hot hot scenes that got me wanting to take cold showers… *oups* and, last but not at all the least, a wonderful science fiction world, created just for us, that I felt I wanted to explore more and more.

The good guys? They have their bad days and their problems, believe me! The bad guys? You get to understand why they are bad and they can be pretty nasty, to the reader’s delight.

Just started an incredible saga and I have a feeling I won’t be satisfied until I know how the story ends. I invite you to embark on this incredible journey that will get you hooked right from the start! And… will make you wish you were the one who got drafted to become a Bride.
