HAPPY MONDAY & HAPPY NEW EARLY RELEASE DAY!!! I found some goodies! But first…

Three things:

1.) *sigh* I’m working today when usually I have Monday’s off. Filling in for someone, but it is what it is.

2.) I finished a fantastic book. Yesteryear: A Novel <— I need to write the review. It was excellent from the very start and had me hooked, and wondering and guessing and the end… well. I wasn’t expecting that ending but I loved it. It all makes sense after all of that confusion. I love an unreliable narrator!!! Keeps you guessing… and it was fun! Yep… I’d give it 5 stars ’cause it’s the first book in ages that HAD. ME. read more

HAPPY MONDAY, HAPPY START OF A NEW WEEK & HAPPY IT’S BACK TO REAL LIFE FOR ME… My vacation is over, my family is gone, and it’s back to the daily grind. 😉 Luckily, my daily grind is a nice life, so I’m good, however…

Three things:

1.) *sigh* my mom has gone back home. I miss her like crazy already. Especially when I dropped her off at the airport. It took everything I had not to cry. I succeeded, and then my husband took me out and kept me busy to see my mind off of what was missing in my life already. It was an incredible week. Filled with living the Florida lifestyle, going to beaches, swimming, shopping and eating THE BEST seafood around. read more

HAPPY TUESDAY & HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY!!! I have a bunch of new books that just went live (but quite a few bargain finds too)! I’m heading to the beach with my mommy today to have breakfast with our toes in the sand, and then to stroll along the sandy shore and look for shells and just take in the peace that the ocean brings.

P.S. My mom is reading while I work on this post (“The Exchange” by John Grisham and she’s already loving it. She LOVES that author and is shocked that I haven’t read anything from him. I told her I’m not really into legal thrillers, and she said YOU MUST READ HIM!! You will love it. Very relatable, realistic stories and he sucks you right in from the start. Well, okay then. She’s leaving me her book so I can read it when she’s done. read more

HAPPY MONDAY!!! I have plans for the day but I couldn’t start it without finding us a bunch of books that just went live!! 🙂

Three things:

1.) I managed to get my house prepared in the nick of time for my family and it looks fantastic. LOL! But I was exhausted when it was finally done, but off to the airport we went & I was so excited! And a bit nervous (you know when you haven’t seen someone in years you’re not sure if and what has changed)…?

2.) MY MOMMY IS HERE!!! She arrived Saturday and it’s even though the last time I saw her was in 2018, it’s like we’ve seen each other regularly forever. Like there’s been no distance. She looks just like my mommy always looks and she’s the same as always. Ahhhh I love my mommy! read more
